Looks great! You can already see the LST working, I love it! Why would anyone want to grow a traditional plant when they can do a LST grow, it's a great way to maximize your yield, and it takes less plants to fill your room. She looks nice and healthy, and short and compact with good inter-node spacing! She is going to be one nice looking plant.

Yea I'm super excited how well its working! If she turns out half as good as yours then I'm gonna be so stoked! I just trimmed some of the lower leaves that where blocking the light.... maybe i should have just pulled them out of the way?? Oh well she seems to be liking it.Looks great! Yea she's going to go into a bigger pot in about a week or so i think. she looks smaller now cause i trimmed some of the leaves away. In a few days she's going to be so much more full!..... but i don't know if there's enough light or not...

why would you trim leaves on such a young plant? They are energy factories...and you laid off 10% of your workforce...why? Don't cut lower leaves off 'till the plant is like 20 times the size it is now. Even then...only cut if there is a reason like no airflow going through the plant...or the leaf is covering a budsite. (even then you are better off bending the leaf under the budsite as opposed to removing it) The leaves will yellow and fall off on their own eventually. They really don't need your help. Emulate nature as much as possible. I'd read the cfl sub forum on the site...if you were adding more lights and wanted to do so cheaply...a few cool white cfls for veg...and a larger number of warm white cfls for flowering could only be beneficial.

Another tip that I live by: Why not plant the seeds in the container that you wish to finish in? What is the benefit of a small container...then transplanting to a bigger one? Does that happen in nature? Keep it simple. The plant WANTS to grow well. You stand more chance of stopping her from doing so by doing too much. For example...it doesn't rain every 3 days. If you miss a watering...that is FAR better than too much water. Over-water and over-fertilizing are the two main cause of a crappy plant. 3rd and 4th being not enough light, not enough airflow.

Thank you for all you help and tips! I'm not going to trim it al all anymore, just gonna let it do it thing from now on. You also have a good point about planting in the container that you are gonna use till the end. I think I'm going to put her in a bigger container really soon cause i want the LST to go around the edge of the big container not this small cup. She seems to be doing well with the light i have in there but more wont hurt, I'm just afraid of it getting to hot in there with more lights.

If you have a good fan...plus 23 watt cfls aren't that hot. Just add one cool white cfl in veg...add like 3 warm cfls in flower. Your temps will not soar unless you have them in a box the size of a toaster oven.
I agree with everything this person is saying saying. Except that I do like to start my plant off in a small pot and then transplant, Its more of a matter of preference. But I find I can keep more plants in less space, and they are easier to work with in small pots. Then I transplant to the pot I will be finishing in a day or two before I move her to the flower room.

Yea that's why i have her in a small pot right now, its just a space thing. Im gonna rearrange some things today and maybe add some more light and a bigger pot. thank you guys for your help. I just move up pot sizes and got a cfl in there the other day. It's been about 3 days and every thing seem to be working fine. I think it was growing super so so hope fully this will fix that problem. I also noticed some weird light green patches on the edges of the leaves and some are even a little brown.. could this be nute burn? I'm just going to give it water for the next few waters and see it that helps... or could it be cause of heat? Here are some pics i just took..... i got some water on the leaves so thats what that is in these pics...

Thank you! I checked out your grow and i hope that mine turns out as good as yours! Yea all I've heard is amazing thing about the Aurora from Nirvana too. I'm so excited to see what she looks like when she's all grown up haha!

ya or better yet you might end up getting the elusive purple pheno! Either way I'm sure she'll look beautiful under those LED's!
