yes you can get cfl'sfor flowering at home depote:weed:

3 weeks from seed in soil is what i should have said, also I've had them on a 24/0 light cycle and yesterday was there first 12/12.......

This is from your second post. I went back to be certain I read correctly that you are on a 12/12 light schedule. I suggest 18/6 or 24/0 for veg. Your plants are way too young for 12/12 lighting; especially with some of the issues you are having.

Yes, I know some people go 12/12 from seed, but you have to have a healthy, happy plant to do that. I would also guess that you give up quantity and quality with that grow method.

The T5's at Home Depot and Lowes are not High Output (HO) and therefor, lower watts and lumens than the HO's that you get online or at the hydro stores. The fixtures have to be rated for the HO also to be used so watch that also. Lowes has their T5 fixture and bulbs on sale at nearly half price because they're not selling. Stock the pre wired HO fixture and bulbs and I'd almost guarantee that they would sell them.

HOT5's work very well in small spaces for flowering. Better than cfl's for flowering Pics of proof). My girls pretty much rest on the bulbs with little to no browning of the leaves. I keep the bulbs within an inch or two of the top.

UPDATE: Hows it Going guys? Well today's my 24th day of veg.

I stated in a previous post that I have already started the 12/12 lighting, but after one day of it I decided to revert back to 24/0 and have been on it ever since and don't plan on going back until flowering time.

I have yet to add any nutes to her and Yet I am very pleased with her progress.(Should I expect more tho?)

Pretty much I am just putting my concentration on the main plant, the other one is still in there but is root bound and is staying very miniature. Probably just going too keep that plant as is until further dates.

QUESTION: My question now is FIMing or topping. What do you guys think I should Do? I would love to shoot for 4 colas but if its safer to just go with 2 ill do that. judgeing by the pictures ive posted with this update when do you guys think I should perform either the topping or the Fiming?

Also ive seen the diagrams of how to fim and top but in the diagram it seems like the perfect plant to be used for the diagram and can find a good location on it, on my plant on the other hand it seems as tho there is all kinds of branches coming out and am confused on where I would cut if the plant is/bout to be ready. This is just a secondary question but if you guys could help me out in any way that would be great.

Thanks alot guys, cant wait for the replies.

Looks real nice EBE420. Next step is to increase the nutrient uptake over the next 2-3 weeks for growth, depending on the size of your flowering area and keep the lights close.

ACK......giver her nutes, give her nutes! Your plant won't die, yet it won't exactly thrive either. That plant would positively be much bigger had you been using them. <smile>

As for fimming or topping, that entirely depends upon what kind of grow you are seeking. I don't know what kind of space you will be providing for flowering. That defintely will factor in with your decision. If the space is small, either technique is efficient, provided you KEEP your plant on 24/24 right now.

whats up guys, I was thinking of having this grow be all natural so that I can have a control on what to expect from my later grows.

Is there a natural way to ad nutes??

Scratch what I said lol

Went and got this plant feed today what do you guys think, Has anyone heard of/ used this before??

-DYNAMITE Premium Fertilizer, All purpose 18-6-8

added some today to her

got some updated pictures from the past couple days, Frankly im amazed by the growth that there is day-2-day, She's a little over 11" tall right now and 16" wide. (I keep saying she because I am a very hopeful father  LOL)

probably 2-4 more weeks before I force her into flowering
