So have you looked at the trichomes under a microscope? Your buddy said it was an 80 day flower. But your buddy may be a 60% + amber trichome kind of person, and bud is ripe for the picking with the majority of the trichomes "milky" or "opaque." For all we know, this might just be in time. What day are we on anyways?

Keep your room between 60-69 degrees with a humidity of 40%-50% with no light or nearly no light, and good ventilation, but no direct ventilation on the buds. A draft in the room is good, but a fan blowing on nugs is very bad. You can put a small fan inside the room blowing air out of the room or on the door.

yea i put a fan in the room blowing towards the ceiling, cant really leave the door open, too stanky. going to get a humidity think at target now.

How long to you have to wait inorder to cook with your trimmings, do they have to be dry?

You should be able to cook them wet or dry. Shouldn't effect the potency but perhaps the flavor idk since I've never done it wet before.

Those nugs look fantastic man, pat yourself on the back. Should be a plentiful harvest. They all look nice too, no BS popcorn nuglets.

You still have limits on how much bud you can have at once. Most places a half pound is your max, I have no idea what's going on in Nevada though.

All you need to do is tie them down. the plant will recover and bend all buds ,leaves, and branches back up to the light within a couple hours
