yeah i hear ya man...i have mine in commercial. 4 years of school...turns out theres a school here in the new area i live in that has a 5 year school thats good nation wide! boy was i pissed when i found that out..here in FL i dont think we ever have to re-new ours, though i could be wrong...only have it for 6 years and it expiring is total bullshit man, sorry your getting the shaft

FL has some of the toughest laws next to cali when it comes to electrical i here if not worst.. but its a good paying trade so i put up with it..
we have to renew every three years here this is my second time but the first time i just paid cause i did it early..
