First grow, 480w cfl(real output) bagseed

Someone earlier mentioned getting plants a little closer to the light. I definitely think it's something you might want to consider. You got some great plants already and your setup is NICE. I think you'll see a HUGE increase in growth if you can get those plants closer to the lights and get those nodes a little tighter.

Maybe use some bricks?? Great thing about bricks is you can easily lower them as the plants get bigger, and the fact that you can have smaller seedlings propped up higher so they can be closer to the light while you have your 2-3 footers sitting directly on the floor.

This is a really nice grow with cfl's.. I have some lemon skunk seeds in germination right now, n once they sprout I'll be using cfl's.. Just hoping mine goes as good as ur's did! I'd +rep but Idk how sense I'm kinda new tithe sight haha sorry man.. Nice plants though bro

As the title say's , VICTORY ! 100% success rate with my clones, all 5 of them got root's goin on, it's just amazing, 100% success rate on my first grow, first try with cloning and with no rooting hormone or humidity dome or anything . just plain soil and tap water .

Now i can say that my veg room is thriving ! the other 5 plant's i'm growing, they just wanna take over my cabinet .

Thx for stopping by , and for the good advice , but i can't get them too close to the light's because they grow very fast and i'm away from home for like 12-14 hrs every day and i would not want them to get burned from touching the cfl's .... but i think i wil add a few more cfl's this week to try to compensate....

Ok, so this is day 65 overall and 45 flowering for the big girl. she is going well, packing up wight each day, slowly but surely . She is smelling like a true champion, cant wait to fill up my bong from her and stone my brains to a new universe , yum yum

As for the seedling's, it's day 43 and the clones i took from them are day 14, all rooted fine, root's are coming out from the holes on the bottom of the cup's (planning to transplant them this week and also add new cfl's to the veg area)

i took one of the seedling's and threw it in the flowering room, i wanna sex it and if it's a female reveg it and use it as a mother (will build a mother vegging area )

Quick question : Are those mercury bulb's good for vegging ? they put out a pretty intense white light and don't heat up that much ... thinking to add one to the veg area ...

Hey everyone, i'm back, and gotta say i love the way the forum's look now +rep for the admin's lol

I've added 4 more plant's to the flowering room and tomorrow or the day after tomorrow , a minimum of 100 w worth of cfl's will be added to the garden and the clones will be transplanted in to 2 l pot's .

i'm curious as hell how much i will get of it ... but i dont think more then 10 gram's maybe ? dunno, since it is my first plant i'm not able to estimate that but she still got 3 ? maybe 4 week's ?

Looks great man! I'm gonna stay tuned. I'm growing with CFL's too, I'm practicing with vegetables right now cause I'm a newbie to hydro DWC but I'm gonna get going on some autos in a couple of months. Peace.

I have to admit i gave a thought to DWC growing sistem's ... but after failing with coco(you can see that my plant's don't look too good) i'mma stick to premium potting soil with some time released fert's in it. Post a link when you start growing, i'll sure follow it

Your plants are lacking (P)Phosphorus. Your stems are red/purple. Add some wood ash to your next water feeding. I'd say your buds will fatten up alot more with more phosphorus too.Goodluck

Thx allot mate, how much wood ash should i add ? and how to mix it ? should i make a tea ? does it matter what sort of wood ash is it ? i mean from what kind of wood it came ?

(my micro nute's got phosphorus in it but i think it's too low)

Swt as man.Pine tree's im pretty sure are the best, Umm anything like solid black ash that crumbles easy. All wood ash has (P) but it just ranges higher and lower ammounts. Add one/two tea spoons and within a few weeks 3/4 of your stem will be green again. If that dosnt work, buy some high potassium and phosphorus N-(P)-(K) fertlizers. Just incase you don't know (N) is for veg and increases foliage and size. If you are lacking pottasium i recommend crushing 3 or 5 egg shells and mixing them into your soil. If there's anything else just ask. Pump P and K into your plant at budding and trust me you'l get really nice results with that many cfl's.

Ok man, thx allot, i'm getting some wood ash today i think i some something like that for grilling . I think the big girl also lack's cal and mag, since she is grown in coco, and the micro nute's i use got verry litle cal and mag in them .... i think the wood ash should help me with this too. great ideea man, thx again

Something weird happened , one of my clones got pistil's shooting allover ... could that be from the stress of cloning ? the clones are on 24/7 light schedule ..... well atleast now i know she is a girl heh .

At long last , i got the time to update ... sorry i didnt update for a the last 5 day's but i was really busy and when i had a little time of ... i got baked

There have been a few changes, still didn't get more cfl's, but will do very soon.

all the plant's got repoted , in to allot bigger pot's.

Now there are 5 plant's in the flowering room .

When i repoted, i noticed that all the plant's, big girl, smaller flowering 4 and the 5 clones, got killer root's, they're white and well spread in the soil, no root bound so that's good.

Also, can anyone tell why did one of the clones start showing pistil's ? it's on 24/0 light schedule ...

alright, Your right man. Your definantly lacking cal or/and mag.
Put a few pinches of epson salt,with diluted at a rate of 200g per 10 litres of water and thats the mag deficiency delt with, Unless of course the coco means you couldnt use it... Never delt with coco as a medium before. There is only one thing i have found for a calcium deficiancy and that is agricultural lime added to your medium, But once again... Can that even be added to coco? Well, Goodluck anyway man

Man ... thx big time for the help you're giving me.

I also thought it might be cal/mag def ... so i've been looking for some epson salt everywhere ... but the stores and supermarket's in this damned city don't have any ...

I will order some off the internet .... hopefuly i'll get them in 4-5 day's.

This is the last time i'm using coco .... it just dosen't fit my style( wich ever that would be lol) i do love the amount of ait the root's are geting in coco ... but all the nuting stuff is killing me .

my clones are in some premium poting soil : shagnum moss, worm castings some other tipes of soil's( cand remember and i'm too stoned to go and read the bag) and sand. no perlite ... and time releasing fert's .


would disolving a Ca+d3+Mg pill ment for human's in water, and water them with that work ?
