First Grow 3 weeks Flowering What do you think??

Hey everyone! 3 weeks flowering Pure Burmese Sativa! This is my largest girl about 27 Inches started flower at 12".

I am using a 150 Watt HPS switching to a 400 Watt Next tuesday when it gets here.

What do you think so far??

Is it normal for the hairs to be turning Orange already?? Only 3 weeks into flowering.

anybody else ever heard of topping during flower? I dont even know how to top, dont you have to pinch it and pull it off or somthing? I dont want to hurt my baby!

nah bro dont do that.....its a lil tooo late. to top...one thing you can do is just expose more of the bud site by tying that BITCH!! down...so that hopefully help the sten fill up more. If you do that thou dont tie it to close to the top and she will turn right back up toward the light within hours.


P.S. yeah i might be so totally wrong......but i think that would make sense from my experience

your plant looks great, those little buds are going to blossom huge no doubt.

Your plant looks very healthy, great job bro! It looks like your top most bud may be getting a little too warm from the light, hence the really short hairs and some turning orange. Just cup your hand over the nug and feel how warm it is on the back of your hand. You want it to be like mid seventies temp wise. Sometimes just raising the light an inch will cool it off a lot. Remember, your plant has been stretching a lot the first weeks of flowering. Anyway your plant looks AWESOME!!! I would love to try that.... keep up the great grow!

I would not top it now it's already making the bud it looks great man wish it was one of mine lol

About the topping thing, last Summer one of my big top colas had gotten too close to the bulb and about a 1/2 chunk was toasted. Mine was about 4 weeks (or more) in because I remember it was already a nice cola. The brown tip looked crappy so I pinched out all the dead tip. The bud then got fatter and it had 3 pyramid clusters of calaxes growing at the tip and it got fatter around the whole cola. Maybe thats what the old school books meant about pinching the tops to get bigger buds. I will try and find the bud pics from that plant later, but now I have to experiment and document this on my next round.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to top during flowering, I'm not 100% sure, so you could try, but wouldn't you just be loosing the bud it had already produced? Also, would you speak highly of Van Island Seed? I'm going up to Kind Seed in Vancouver soon, and I've been checking out that breeders strains in the catalog. Their shit looks good, I want to try the Blackberry!
