Hello there!
Time to introduce my little project to you all! At the start of 2011 I started the planning and eventually the building of my first growcloset. It took a couple of months to complete the entire thing, but at the moment, I'm very pleased with the result!
The Closet:
- 70cm H x 37 cm W x 47 cm D
- 3x120mm PC-fans, wired to a adjustable 12V power supply.
- The inside completely sealed with silicones and airstrips.
- Radiator foil on the walls for insulation and reflection.
- 4x 23W Philips Tornado CFL
- 1x Can 1500 75m³ carbonfilter
- Homemade waterproofwiring and 'skeleton' for the lightbulbs.
Nutrients
- 1x Hy-pro Hy-dro a+b 1ltr
- 1x Hy-pro Rootstimulator 500ml
- 1x Hy-pro PH- 500ml
- Hy-pro Spraymix 500ml
- In combination with fresh water from a barrel in my garden.
Soils:
- Soil especially for seeds
- Universal gardening soil
Progress:
- 23/05/2011: germination of seeds;
- 26/05/2011: planting the seeds;
- 29/05/2011: first seed above ground;
- 01/06/2011: second seed above ground;
- 07/06/2011: repotting both seeds to the universal gardening soil
Workflow:
Atm I'm not doing a lot of special things to the plants. I spray them wet with some fresh water, and every 2 days I add some water to the soil. Not a lot, about 10-15cl. At the end of this week I think I'll be adding some nutrients.
Comments, remarks, solutions, tips, points of critics, etc... It's all very welcome! I'm new to all of this, so every bit of feedback/help is more than welcome!

Who'd suspect that there are 2 plants in here?
Just need to clean up the desk and 'hide' the hinges.
The cardboard box is filled with foam and has and extendable airtube, connected to the filter. No light escapes + pretty silent.
