First Grow-19 days into Veg Cycle-Pure Power Plant

Beings that this is my first grow I just want to know if im on the right track and any advice would be great. Im growing 3 PPP plants from Nirvana 1 Arjan Strawberry Haze from greenhouse and 1 Dolce Vita from Dutch Passion. Im running a 400 watt MH system on a 18/6 cycle with good ventilation. Temp 85-88 F when light is on 72-75 when light is off. Humidity 45-50% Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and added perlite along with Fox Farm Nutes. I just introduced the 2 bigger plants to Fox Farm grow big nutes along with superthrive. I transplanted 2 of the 3 PPP plants and Used Dyna-Gro K-L-N with the transplant. The 3rd PPP is a little runt compared to the other 2 and the Strawberry Haze and Dolce Vita are only in there 8th day of Veg. PPP is on day 19 and I want to know if they look right for thier age? The pics attached are only the 3 PPP the first 2 are of the same plant and the last pic is of the runt.

yea I had the same feeling that they seem to be short and growing slow but im confused b/c they look healthy and I transplanted the 2 of them 3 days ago thinking that they may have been root bound and they did have some awsome root growth, I think that from using the Dyna-Gro K-L-N formula the plant has focused alot of its energy into the formation of its roots

hey bro, i was just wondering how the plants turned out. i had similar concerns with my grow and after around 6 weeks they trippled. im sure my stuff should be bigger though, since i am only using two 40w cfls for my grow.

The pics where just taken moments before I posted the thread, I just checked the pH of the soil and the pH is high but i have my water and nutes adjusted to 6.2? I think the pH is high due to the lime I have added with the soil mixture, so Im going to try reduceing the the few feedings to a acidic pH around 4.5-5 and that should lower my soils pH

What kind of lime are u using? Im assuming its Dolomite Lime which usually(when mixed properly) keeps soil about neutral pH(7.0). If ur using Hydrated Lime, that stuff is way acidic and is not recomended for marijuana growth. At 19 days those plants should have 4-5 leaf sets and be about 5-8 in tall. Their foliage should be almost as wide as the container its in. Trust me, I only veg all my grows for 21 days, so ive seen alot of 19 day old plants :)

omg 21 days?! dude, i am in the middle of my first grow and i must say i have found the process excruciatingly slo! share the knowledge man.. very impressive:weed:

Im using what is called Soil Doctors Pelletized Lawn Lime. Its the same as dolomite, it says on the bag that it supplies Calcium and Magnesium and it also Neutrallizes pH and Enhances Fertilizer Effectiveness. Im going to get a better pH tester, I have a liquid test kit for balancing my feed but my soil test kit is a 3 way meter and it sucks. I put the pH probe in a bottle of lime juice and it still read b/t 6-7 and lime juice has a pH of a 2-3

Well I only use MG soil, believe it or not. The trick to MG soil is to water with 7.4pH for about the first 3 watering of plants life then switch to 6.8pH. I follow "SeeMoreBuds's" Marijuana Buds for Less" 'Grow 8oz. of bud for less thsn $100', ill never spend money on that expensive FF soil, hers a pic, the two on the left were veged for 18 days

dude, where do u get ur supplies @? i got into an argument on here w some douche bag cuz he kept putting people down for not spending wut he spent on supplies. i think that its even more impressive when u can do so much w so much less.


by the way, do u kno wut it means when the tips of my plant r burnt? nothing else is wrong w any of the other plants, but on one, the tips at the end of the leaves seem to be burnt.. wuts that bout?

Today I noticed some improvment with growth but I decided to transplant all of them into new soil. I know when I mixed my first bag of soil I used to much lime, I added about 1 cup per gallon of soil of the pelitized lime. I went and bought a bag of Jungle Growth Soil from lowes for like $6 It is all natural and is pre mixed with lime so there it is already pH balanced. Im hoping in a few days theese ladies grow like wildfire after they get used to there new homes.

nice. i started out with some soil my roommate had left over from an actual plant, and when my plants germinated, i found worms n shit in the soil so i got some miracle grow soil n they were fine. then i was told i couldnt have 4 plants in 1 container so i bought ocean forrest organic potting soil.

i went to this shop and this douche bag told me miracle grow was no good, but ive found out he just sold me some big ass bag of soil.

Yea I started with FF Ocean Forest but I messed up the batch of soil and I liked the soil, it drained well but I wasnt up for the drive to go out looking for any Hydroponic shops and nurseries so Lowes it was
