This is my plant which I grew from a bag seed - vegged for 9 weeks under a T5 flo and now 1 week into flowering with a 250w hps. This is my first grow so please comment if possible and let me know if anything looks off. I know the bottom leaves are yellowing (maybe N deficiency?) but would like to know if there is anything else I should know. Also, if anyone could give me any insight into the sex of the plant that would be great. I shot a couple closeups of the nodes in the last photos as well as some strange leaf growth that is going on in the lower part of my plant. Thanks for any comments!

what kind of soil are you using?
Yeah, it is definitely undersized for its age. It really didn't start showing any consistent growth until after week 5/6 of veg - kinda weird. Anyway I don't think I'm expecting much yield from this one or anything like that but hopefully it's a female and gets to bud.

Using this generic soil mix that I got from the local grow/hydro store. Guy said it's basically FF Ocean Forest so I'm assuming it's very similar to it.

i asked because on my first grow i used a 50/50 mix of miracle grow, peat moss/perlite and your mix looked similar. but my plant looked like yours does now, with the red leave stems and yellowing. the problem i had was a calcium deficiency and i added some epsom salts to the soil and that helped alot
