This is the first time I've been able to grow throughout a whole season and my plants are kind of huge already. They are 2 1/2 months and already 4 feet tall how much larger should they get if I leave them alone? I'm growing silver Jack if it helps.. will upload pics soon

You can expect them to likely double in size during the flowering process. Cut the top back before it goes to flower if you need it shorter and allow the lower branches catch up with the main stem.

Hi earth59x,

Easy solution to an easy problem. The best thing for you to do to your plant without sacrificing yield or downtime from recovery would be to tie down the top of your plant so it makes an arc. It is called low stress training. The shoots on the main stalk will begin to grow upwards, and if they get to tall guess what? That's right, you tie those down. It worked great for me, I grew a mean little bush using this method. Google "low stress training cannabis" and you'll get all the info you can handle. In my opinion, I would not top a haze, but that's just my opinion and I'm sure topping a sativa dominant strain has worked for many.

too big? Whats the problem? I don't get it
I know you guys are trying to be funny but size can be an issue for some growers (even outside) maybe he has a fence hes trying to keep them behind or other line of sight issues. But some of the real responses are telling you the truth you can either top or bend over the plants to keep them low if thats what ya wanna do.

Better bend it. Topping will only slow it down a bit. And in a few weeks, you'll be saying they're too big all over again.
