First feed (seedling stage) questions...

Hey I'm pretty new to growing and have a few questions on a soil grow I've just started. I currently have my seedlings in a solo cup with a neutral medium(Pro-Mix HP) and worm castings for nitrogen. I wanted to do a super soil grow using Gaia greens amendments which are slow release nutrient (takes about a week to be introduced) but don't know if top dressing in a solo cup would be the best way to introduce it to the plants. The plants aren't going to grow out of the solo cups before they need nutrients and can be transplanted into the super soil. So my question is, should I top dress early and maybe risk nutrient burn or should I start with a liquid nutrient to control the grow and then swap when I transplant to a 1 gall pot (will this harm the plants?)? If anyone has experience with something like this, recommendations would be much appreciated, thanks!

It's much too early to feed anything except what's in the soil and 0 0 0 kelp. To control growth put them as close to lights as possible and when they get top heavy add soil to support or repot deep all the way up to the cotyledons.
Try feeding if getting lighter green color or around 5-6 weeks. Low strength or low numbers on your nutes to start.

Your promix and worm casts should be enough for 5-6 weeks btw. If you have time and space get the bigger pots ready a week before transplant. Water innoculate add ferts and put them in the room for a few days to have a good soil temperature, ferts and soil moistened.
