First ever grown

I'm going to be starting up my first grown opp here in a few days. Waiting on a few things in mail. My grown room is in my spare bedroom of my apt. I'm going to be using organic non fertilized soil. Foxfarm trio pack nutrients. I have very good seeds. My water will out of a brita filter. I'll be using 1-2 12 in. fluorescent lights and 2 cfl per plant (growing 5 plants). I have a small space heater for the room and a circulating fan. For smell I have a 6in carbon filter with a good fan and speed controller. Please if you have any Advice or suggestions let me know!

How small is your computer screen? lol please write smaller.. you sound like your on the right track. Just dont give them any nutes until they are like 2-3 weeks old.. try using 5000k CFLs... dont buy the 3000-4100 k bulbs.. they dont work for growing plant.. I learned that the hard way. Good luck..

I have a similar concern, I looked through of few threads to make sure i wasn't repeat posting but its pretty general. Correct me if i should have started a new thread. My scenario, I have been slowly putting together my grow supplies and I'm down to the last couple of things nutes, grow medium (clay pellets/perlite) and the PPM and PH meters and the up and down etc hope to spend less than $100 for the rest of this stuff. The one thing i have not decided to do just yet is buy some quality beans online... but I just couldn't wait so I germed 5 old beens i had stored for such an occasion. Only one cracked, when it got about an inch in length it was then implanted into a jiffy peat pellet then placed in to a combination of smooth marbles topped with an inch of vermiculite. I didn't see the sense in placing it under the t5's lamps which bulbs burn at 3000k and 3500k or even try turning on my 1000wHPS for a single bean. This is what Im using to get this little guy to hopefully mature into a sexy lady. GOPR0523.jpgGOPR0522.jpgGOPR0517.jpgGOPR0516.jpgGOPR0515.jpg

Cobra28widow, My lamp sun blaze 48 came with red high output 3000k and 3500k fillips green tipped lights. Your saying i need a blue light at least higher than 5000k?.. In the pictures from left to right i show how small the housing is for the plant and how i assembled the mediums that I had available (just couldn't wait). then I show a light meter being hit by a superbright LED, first picture is of the low setting then the mid setting you can't see the numbers on the meter but it blows past the 2000 mark even at 5 inches away from sensor. For a while I had this wee one under a small but bright office fluorescent. I quickly distanced the plant from the light when the tip of one of the leafs started turning yellow. So then I introduced my night riding light for my bike (kinda fancy its super bright LED cygolite expilion 410 lumens). I noticed the plant enjoyed this light alot more than the other, less blue office light. Some one told me its a lot of trial and error so here i am with my trial...and error. I'm thinking I keep growing it under the led and introduce my other 600Lm LED when it gets a little bigger, Im thinking of collecting some clones as soon as i can and try to sex them will the baby mama continues to grow. now I'm thinking i should have started a new thread, I'm all over the place with this but what choo folks think?
