First Ever Grow, Very unique exprience. Amnesia Future#1

Good day ladies and gentlemen.

This is my first ever grow that i have ever done in my life.

General Information:
Started in generic potting soil and transplanted to Coco coir after 2 months of stunted growth in damp soil.(plant never grew in 2 months. just sit there doing nothing with mediocre root mass)
Plant exploded in growth after transplanting to coco coir.
Using 3 gallon fabric pot.
Using inorganic fertilizer. GHE Micro,Grow,Bloom, and Cal mag supplement only, nothing else.(2000ppm during Veg and currently in flower, 1400ppm)
Feed every watering PHed to 5.7-6.2 with 20% runoff.
Using Hipargero HG1200 COB LED lights.
Grown in a 4x4x8 grow tent.
Temperature and humidity levels is around 80-90F and RH of 66-92% (record high and record low, average is 87F and 75%RH) Tropical climate.
Vegging time(18Hours of light) is around 90 days. This plant is currently 29 days after flipping to 12/12.

Trainings done to the plant:
i tried Mainlining and Lots of LSTing the plant throughout vegging and early flowering.
Defoliation is abit contradictory to me so i tried defoliating very lightly.(kinda regretting this decision after getting some solid evidence that heavy defoliation helps yield alot)

A few hiccups during growth of the plants.
I got lazy removing the runoff during early flower and found the stems of the leaves turning purple and small red spots on leaf stems. Leaf tips have signs of nute burn too.(caught it very early and damage is minimum.)
runoff PPM is through the roof. Around 12000ppm. Now the runoff is around 3600ppm everytime i measure them. (feeding with 1400ppm currently with bloom mix).

currently, plant is 29 days after switching to 12/12 light cycle.

A few questions for the respected members here, hope you guys can answer them. i will forever be in your debt.

1.i am in week 4 after flipping but the bud size is small compared to other grow logs i've seen in this forum. Is it because i didnt defoliate enough?
2. Can I still heavy defoliate my plant in week 4 after flipping light cycle to increase yield? or am i going to hurt the yield?
3. I am very worried about the humidity levels in my grow environment but there is nothing i can do. or is there anything i can do?
4. Any estimates on how much dry weight i can get through this flimsy pictures? 1 plant in a 4x4 with a true 360watts LED.

I hope this is a good read for you guys as i am thinking out loud. Cheers and i hope i am not a nuisance to you guys. and sorry for my English as it is not my mother tongue.

Happy growing!1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg9.jpg10.jpg

1. They look happy for week 4. Remember they wont start packing on weight til their last few weeks.

2. Here is some great info about deformation during flowering https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-flowering-stage-defoliation-tutorial

3. To control humidity you could use a humidifier or dehumidifier dependent on your situation. If you are able to run an air conditioner that will decrease the humidity.

4. At optimal conditions you could yield quite a bit and your girl looks healthy! The amount would be dependent on strain genetics, how much light your girl receives as well as nutrient uptake and how you control it.

Those are my thoughts... :eyesmoke:

Thank you very much. I am very happy that you are willing to give your thoughts to me.

Looks sweet to me man, personally I do 3 rounds of defoliation. First halfway through veg, second just before I flip to flower, and the third about 3-4 weeks into flower. I only remove leaves that have developed a stem though, nothing too small or short.

As for humidity, that much moisture in the air might cause issues when your buds start to bulk up over the next couple weeks. I would either use a dehumidifier or get a larger extraction fan to pull humid air out.

Thank you very much. I will try and get a decent dehumidifier.

Are you heavily defoliating during week 4 of flower? Will start defoliating tomorrow to remove excess leaves.

Thank you again

I wouldn’t defoil the plant I would keep letting it go maybe even more light
Yea man. I learnt that 360watts led is not enough for a 4x4. Will add another 200 watts of LED for the next grow.

I am worried of the humidity in my area as I am from a tropical climate(RH is always above 70)

Guess I will have to fork up some money for a decentvdehumidifier. Sob

well a decent dehum will go a far way i got a 50 and a 30 pint i like the 50 better. in a 5x5 im running 800 watts 5000 diodes.

Thank you so much for the information. Will start my research on what dehumidifier to get tonight!
800 watts for a 4x4 tent? Wow that's seem to be a lot of lights! I bet your yield is insane!
