Depending on your “cheap amazon light” your final yield may lack certain qualities that you could have gotten with a better model how many watts is the light in there now

Instead of the $50 light, get a Vipar XS-1500 Pro for about $90.

As soon as I saw your plants, it was either you've hacked off all of the leaves (growers love it, plants suffer) or the plants weren't getting enough light.

You've mainlined the plant and, in doing so, you've removed a lot of leaves. Leaves are the only way that plants can make food.

When plants don't get a lot of light, they stretch toward the light (tall and slender), they have a small number of branches, and a small number of large leaves. That happens because plants need light to create food and, when there's no that much light, they need to do all they can to get to the light.

In the first photo, the plants are "praying" which usually indicates that they're getting a good amount of light. Based on their morphology, that wasn't always the case.

What light are you using and what's your hang height?

Is $90 for a kickass light in your budget?

I have the XS-1500 which was a nice little light. Vipar brought out the Pro model over a year ago and it set the standard in the 2' market.

Adding more light now will make a difference in yield. As long as your plants can tolerate the additional light (and cannabis is a light whore loves light) crop yield and quality increase in an almost linear manner as light levels increase. Getting that light now will give you benefits for this grow.

First time grower. Used cookies green crack from seed connect. Fox farm soil and nutes. Cheap $50 amazon light fabric pot and vivyosun 2x2x4. Looking for feedback on what I can improve next time. This is day 81 since sprouted day 16 of flower.
It looks good! Just keep growing and learning. It looks like how you have it all setup is pretty good, now you just have to get through the first run and see if it all works for you.. if all the equipment did it's job correct, or anything you would change. How the strain you grew and how you grew it work out for you and the space. And other than that just run through whatever strains you like to find your keepers!
I just pick a strain, find the best pheno, and try to learn what the plant wants and needs, and grow it out with a goal in mind like a certain weight you would want to hit and try your best!
