First ever grow - Fridge grow

Day #47 man, still another 10 days or so I would say.

Some good news today. I actually found out what strain I am growing. They are jack herer. Meant to take 50-70 days and are sativa dominant which is awesome because I really wanted to grow a sativa plant for its uplifting high
 
How did you find out? I was thinking about jack for my grow but got suggested the blue cheese. I definatly want a smoke report. You better not harvest and disappear like a lot of ppl do .....emann lol jk. Don't disappear before the report though
 
Hahaha unless I get busted or die then I won't disappear don't worry haha. My friend who gave me the two clones found out from his friend last night. I kept asking my friend to find out what it was and he finally managed to find out. This guy says he only has jack herer mainly because of its resilience

I plan on providing a report of the final dry weight aswell as a smoke report. I will probably sample a bit after it has dried for a week (before a cure) just to see the difference a cure makes. I'm planning on drying for a week and curing for at least 10 days

Ps I am 99% confident the leaf curling problem is from salt buildup. I must confess that I haven't flushed for a while and have just been feeding and the plants have been handling it fine so far. I tested the runoff however and a few days ago it was at about 2.4ec. I gave both pots a big flush and then it was coming out at about 1.4ish. The leaves are looking healthier today and I think I will give another flush tomorrow to get the runoff even lower.
 
shit i actually cant remember where i ordered my seeds from, i ended up using clones from a friend though because the seeds got a bit too stressed.

Update:
Im not sure but I think I have noticed some weird growth and I think it is possible they may have some spot that are turning hermie... I am hoping not and that I am just freaking out but it looks that way. I will take a pic later tonight to show and hopefully you guys can give me some advice on what to do....

Willy, Im actually trying to use the same refrigorator you have but i continually bake my clones over night by accident with only one 23w CFL.. I have a 10in Diameter fan going and i drilled a one in diameter in the back top of the fridge to try and let air escape but it simply isnt working. Could you please tell me what your ventillation setup is because it seems to be working very well. In addition, I'm trying to keep this all stealth which will make things a little more tricky. Thanks a ton I'm excited to see the final results.

Hey blaze boy I got a 4 inch blower fanwhich is hooked up to a fan speed controller. Works very well but is a bit noisy. Sounds like an old fridge though

Yep found one hermie pod forming. The others I think are foxtailing? Pretty sure some idiot at my house opened the fridge door during lights off. I picked it off And it was the only one I managed to find. I will probably look for another hour tonight at least haha
 
willy are you sure it is not just a seed growing in the bud. if that is the case it is not a hermie but just maybe that some male pollen blew in from somewhere. that happens. It is hard to see in the pics but yes it does look weird.
 
Hahaha I was thinking that. Gonna get raided for sure ;). Nah I'm pretty sure someone opened it. Pretty pissed off but shouldn't affect yield much at all. Just hoping pollen didnt spread.

The way I figure they know who we are and what we say anyway. Google, Facebook, this forum everything is monitored by the NSA. I have been saying it for years and years it is just now that it is actually being proved. The only difference is when you are small timers like us they leave you alone. :-) Not that we are small timers but in the bigger scheme of things we are..... Big Brother is watching all of us..... lol
 
You are not from SA maybe. With a name like Willy I was wondering. :-) And I don't mean South Australia btw. If you don't know what I am on about don't worry. lol
