Looking good bro...Im moving to mich here soon to be a caregiver...Beginning of october..
Thanks! If you haven't already Id suggest getting very familiar with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act, its so vague at the moment and really leaves a lot of gray areas for people to get screwed over. Its really hard to NOT break that law, its just being smart and how often your breaking it. I really expect changes to the MMMA soon.

Week 3 of 12/12:

The smaller plants are two that I have in soil but they are sorta experiments as far as nutes and soil goes.

Almost forgot about this thread lol. Might as well update, pics kinda suck because they are under HPS, more pics in my signature.
This is Day 34 of Flower but they started to bud a little late. Went from 18/6 Veg. to 12/12 and took 10+ days to get white hairs. I didn't give it 24-36 hours of darkness before starting 12/12 like some suggest. Anyone have suggestions on how long you think they will take till harvest? I plan on getting a microscope for the trichs but I was hoping to know somewhat so I know when to flush, etc. I was hoping 8 weeks from start of 12/12 but I think it might be 9 or 10:?

When I buy seeds I always add 25% to the time the seed company says it will be harvestible. When they give you that length of time, that is from mature clones under perfect conditions. New growers see that their strain should be harvestible in 9 weeks. So at 5 weeks they subcontionly (spl) freak the hell out and start to try and force their plants to meet this time frame, while in fact slowing it down or killing them.
After you learn exactly what a strain likes and does not like. You can do it in your sleep. And then crush that other time frame. I have a 6 plant crop of Nirvanna ICE that is about the 5th crop from this mother. When I flip them to flowering, they start exploding with buds pretty well within 7-10 days. See they are already showing sex and all before I cut them. Nirvanna says that this ICE strain should be 8-10 weeks. The first crop I did was about 11.5 weeks, Now I have a crop that has been in flower for about 7 weeks, and it is already fully swelled and at about 25% amber. But I still have some left from the last 6 plants. So I am going to see what couche lock feels with this ICE.
Well time for me to get to bed before I face plant into the screen. :eyesmoke:

Thanks for the info my friend, very helpful! Heres some rep. if its worth anything lol

Nice looking grow my friend. I think you might be giving your girls a little to much Nitrogen in the nute mix, and that's what is causing the delayed budding. i'm of the opinion that the 24 hours dark is a myth, and that dropping the level of N and raising the PK is the way to speed up the transition to flower.

Thanks! I appreciate your thoughts but I always thought that excess N would cause the plants to bee a very dark green. Since I switched to 12/12 I have been on my bloom nutes that have a N-P-K of 1%-5%-6% and if anything my plants are light green with a tad of yellowing at the top(not really noticeable).

Your bloom nute ratios sound good. I couldn't really judge the level of greeness under the hps, they just seem to be real leafy for day 34. I'm looking forward to more pics, maybe you could take a few with a flash after the lights go out.

Ya, pics in HPS suck, I have some pics in my profile journal in the dark from almost a week ago but I will add some new ones on this thread in about two or three days.
