Is this in your system now is there a sprayer spraying on it now? You need to treat rockwool like dirt meaning you water it let it dry repeat till the roots pop out some and get going or you might drown it or stunt the growth, stress.

Yes this is in my dwc I have a 7 gallon bucket with a 3 inch net pot there is two layers of hydroton in my net pot the first layer is in contact with the water and the rockwool cube sits on top of second layer of hydroton and the the cube is filled in around with hydroton

Keep the water just below net pot,air bubbles will pop and spray the first layyer of rock. The rock wool will absorb from there.
as said above ,until roots are out a good bit.

My roots have finally broke through the bottom but I’m worried about my water temps they seem to go between 71 to 73 do you guys think these temps are ok or should I switch to a coco pot until I can revamp my system. I have coco loco ready to go in a 3 gallon pot if needed I just want to make the switch before the roots get to crazy if I need to

Looks ok to me just make sure the ph, ppm, humidity light, light height, water temp, etc etc is all on point.
Not going to worry about twisting leaves on such a small plant its growing thats is what we are going to worry about right now.
Dont let the r/w get too dry until the roots get bigger and hang from the net pot.==that may/will cause stress. So maybe splash a shot glass worth of nuted water on the r/w every five days till roots get bigger.

Water the hydroton the rockwool will wick from it.
