Looks like you had early (probably nitrogen) deficiency issues, in general it will progress from the lower nodes up, so keep watching it.

HERES SOMKE PICS FROM JUST NOW....iTS BEEN ABOUT 16 HRS SINCE I ADDED ANOTHER 1/4 NUTES MAKING ME 3/4 OF THE LUCAS FORMULA WITH A PPM OF 669 TODAY....yESTGERDAY I HAD LOWERED MY 250 WATTER TO ABOUT 8-9 INCHES FROM TOP...BUT TODAY I NOTICED SOME MINOR LEAF CURL AS U CAN SEE IN THE PIC WHICH JUST CAME INTO VIEW A FEW HOURS AGO SO I RAISED UP MY LIGHT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS....ANY FEEDBACK OR ADVICE BASED ON PICS????

Well , i still noticed clawing on the tips after i raised my light so i took out some of the nutes/water in my res and replaced it with pure water....my ppm is down to 569 now....better be safe then sorry right???so was this the right thing to do or even a good solution to a possible burn??...

Your PPM is fine, even at 669 most likely. Just don't go to full strength too quickly. You may have dropped the water level too far, too quickly though. Your light distance is fine for a 250 also. Everything looks fine, let them tough it out a little!

Well, it's much worse to overfeed than to underfeed. Plus, your plants need much less nutes than the manufacturers would lead you to believe. I'd keep this rez @ whatever you have it at and then dump it and fill the next rez @ 100%. When you do indeed overfeed, and I haven't seen you do it yet judging by the pics, the very tips of the leaves will be yellow and that's your indicator that your mix is too hot (this is classic N burn, but I think with the formula/stage you're at, this will be the best gauge). If you keep it like that or increase the PPM from there, they will start to curl like ram's horns. Not eagle clawing, full on nasty ram's horns.

WHATS UP EVERYONE....WELL ITS BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE I LAST UPDATED SO I JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU WHERE IM AT IN MY GROW.....WELL SINCE A FEW DAYS AGO, THE PLANT HAS BEEN DOING GOOD..NEW GROWTH IS LOOKIN GOOD AND THESE LEAVES ARE GETTING HUGE....LOOKS LIKE A SHORT AND STOCKY LADYYYY HAHAHA....FOR A COUPLE DAYS MY PPMS HAVE STAYED AT 559 , BUT YESTERDAY I NOTICED THE WATER LEVEL DROPP JUST A TAD AND THE PPM HAS LOWERED AS WELL WHICH IF IM CORRECT MEANS MY PLANT WAS HUNGRY.....sO THIS MORNING i DECIDED TO DUMP MY REZ , FILL ER UP WITH PH'D WATER AND GAVE HER A DOSE OF FULL STRENTH LUCAS FORMULA.......mY PPM RITE NOW IS AT A GOOD 811 SO HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING GOES WELL AND I WONT NEED TO FLUSH.....ILL POST UP SOME PICS IN A BIT TO SHOW U HOW IM LOOKING........SO, DOES IT SOUND LIKE IM DOING A DECENT JOB SO FAR ON THIS ?????

Just a heads up, Superthrive in DWC is a very risky proposition, as it feeds the shit you don't want to grow as well as the stuff you do. Read the sticky in the DWC forum by Heisenberg, tons of good info on DWC growing there, plus the recipe for his tea, which is a must have for ALL DWC grows.

Your babies look good, and they look like they can use nutes. I'd be comfortable in doubling the dose. Sounds like you're using GH 3 part? Are you using Lucas formula, bottle recipe, or...? to determine your ratios?

his tea is a must have? i just use ph proper nute water lol and it works great but im interested so im going to check into that

k.....been noticing brown rusty spots on bigger fan leaves...and the edges of the leaves curl upwards at the edges like a taco....gunna go look it up....

see the brown rust spots on older fan leaves???? after full strenth i had bad clawing.....what u think about the spots.....and the leaves look twisty and wrinkled....

Cal/Mg issue: foliar with epson salts (1/4 tsp to gallon of tap water) will give the plant both or 1/4 Cal/Mag supp. If this helps, add the supp to the res at full strength.

k....i just picked up some cal/mag at the hydro shop this morning.....The bad thing is ( maybe not too bad ) is that my car is at the shop so i couldnt go out and get distilled water( too many gallons to walk down the street with) , so i let some tap sit out for 24 hrs and the ppm went down to the 100 range (water only).....Ive been doing some research on how to add calmag to my rez but every thread i read has diff opionins....Dnt mean to be a bother clobber but u gave me some great advice in this thread and i always look forward to ur post , i wanted to ask u ( or anybody who would like to post, feel free) , with my water already at 100-120 ppm range...How much cal/mag wouold u use because i know my ppm will rise once i add the cal/mag...plus i gotta add nutes cuz i had to do a flush yesterday...My plant wasnt feeling the full strenth lucas and had badddd full blown rams horns yesterday....so i flushed overnite and already the horns r gone and its lookin perkier...Oh yeah i also applied epsom yesterday thru foliar feeding but dont even know if i applied it correctly ( i applied it thru foliar before your post )so yeah , about how much cal/mag should i use with water thats already around 100 ppm , and a rez that need nutes( im gunna apply a little more than half lucas formula bcause my plant didnt respond too well with the full feeding....Thank you for your time...and i appreciate your advice...

Ok, you ought to commit to a rez strength and then stick to it this time; i.e. start at 50% and then add 10% every other day, ending up at 100% at day 10 when you can let it go like that a few more days, or restart at 100%. As for the deficiency, if you are using tap water, then you already have the calcium in the water; sometimes there is so much calcium that it locks out Magnesium. This means epsons salts @ 1tsp/gal which will jump your ppm over 200 easy, but don't worry about numbers right now. If you are using distilled, then you will need both Cal & Mg as Lucas is short. The spots in the photo look like Cal deficiency, which could be from your pH drifting up, or a lack of it; I figured tap water + epson salts would be a 1-2 combo for cal/mag. Now that you're back to tap water, make a foliar solution of the stuff you bought @ 50% strength and spray the leaves and mix up your new rez with epson salts (assuming it is tap). The foliar spray won't make the leaves look better, but it should prevent them from getting worse, which can happen very fast depending on how well your plants are growing. And the newly mixed rez, pH'd to 5.7, should take care of the rest. Expect some leaf curl, and just trust that without other negative symptoms, that it will go away.

well heres a quick update for u guys....ive been real busy with work so i havent really been able to sit down and update....well here u go, shes 2 weeks into flower and doing quite well....i had a little issue with my leaves dying off but i think its because i had too strong dose of nutes in my tub...i posted pics for everyone to see......Well heres some pics for you all......how bout some feedback???? oh yeah, although i havent been posting,i have been reading...and a great job to everyone who has a grow thread in this bubbleponic section , goooood stuffff yall.....
