First dwc from seed

Humbolt headband 6 weeks from seed. Gh nutes with cal mag plus. 400 ppm they wont eat any more than that. Distilled water and hydrogen peroxide. 8 ml per gallon. T5 8 bulb 4 red and 4 blue. Res temps stay between 62 and 68. Left one showed signs of nutrient deficiencies. I had a ph spike once. And the ph steadily raises all the time. I have to check it and adjust almost daily. What do you guys think? Once a week the res starts to smell like a pond. I have 7.5 watts of bubbles and I only fill the buckets upto 3 and a half gallons each so plenty of bubbles

So the link @hotrodharley posted is a lot of good info.
If you're concerned with your PH rising I'm going to suggest it's due to the carbonates in the Flora series plus the Calimagic is a carbonate as well.
I use GH and I switched to the FloraNova base and my PH tends to drop if anything, but it's pretty stable mostly.
If you want some more reading there's lots of info on carbonates, PH and other good stuff in here https://www.growersunderground.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Advanced-Nutrients-Magalog-2013.jpg

What do I think. I think you're good mostly.
Personally I'd switch to FloraNova but lots of people using your nute combo and getting great results. You just need to drop your PH daily, no biggie.
I don't use hydrogen peroxide and I don't see any reason you need to. I think the extra oxygen molecule is damaging to the roots but not an expert on that. Don't sweat the pond smell it'll go away as they get bigger but change the solution every 7-10 days. Lots of bubbles shouldn't hurt at all.
How's that for thinking?

Hydrogen peroxide is water with an extra oxygen atom in it which, when broken down into the solution, helps to add extra oxygen to your Hydroponic nutrient solution.”

Yeah I understand that part of it.
The extra oxygen atom is pretty reactive though and it winds up "attacking" the roots (from what I've read). Doesn't H2O2 limit the size of the root mass in hydro? I've never used it for that reason so I'm not talking from experience, just from what I've read.

No. And I recommend using it. An ounce of prevention you know.

However it has to be used wisely depending on the strength. Read up thoroughly on hydrogen peroxide in general. It’s an oxidizer and usually works against bacteria by destroying the cell outer membrane. Its protective layer.

How long before I should flip?

I'm wondering what the Listerine is for? The only time I ever used hydrogen peroxide is when I saw little black flies in my first grow in dirt. The stuff wiped em out...plants grew just fine. Now I'm DWC all the way and never used H20 in my bucket. The latest thing I started using is some Hydroguard made by a Ukrainian company.

And by the way, if you get a pound out of those two plants at their current size, I want to see it

The listerine is to show size. Hydrogen peroxide is not good for soil. And I didn't say I would get a pound from them now. I was asking when I should flip to achieve a pound. From someone who has done it before.

I am guessing these are photoperiod if you're asking when to flip. This is something I am also contemplating with my first photoperiod grow. This is where I am since seed from January 24th and I have still not flipped. Totally different system though...and I got a bush. Still waiting and think I will flip in 2 weeks.

That looks good. 2 weeks I think would do it. That's how mine looked, I just removed most of the center foliage before the photo

I ended up telling myself I'm not going to remove anything from this plant... some test to see if lolli-popping or pruning too much causes the plant stress, and if it affects final yield. The last plant I grew, I got 190 grams out of with a 180-watt light. Now I got two lights, so I got more light on the plant and less reason to remove leaves. I guess we'll see what happens. Good luck with your grow!
