First day for my new babies. Mephisto halloween illuminatos

Strain Is two different Mephisto illuminatos from the halloween sale. Just cracked the surface at some point last night. Just put it under the light right now. Hoping to get a good grow this time. The one seedling looks yellow but I believe that is because it was not under the light. I just placed these babies under my 315 watt cmh hanging as highas it can. All organics pro mix hp with added bokashi bran, worm castings, gaia green all purpose dry amendment, bio char and molasses

The soil is alive that’s for sure…… good luck ! She should bounce back with that light .

Update Day 5. Seems to be pretty small. Sprayed the surface of the soil for the first few days. Gave a decent watering yesterday. Not quite sure why my plants are always so small for the first 1 and a half weeks or so.

Sorry. That last picture was day 4 now day 6 and still seems to be growing slowly. Gave it a full watering yesterday so that the entire medium will be moist so the tap root can grow as far down as it can. I hope these babies pick up the pace. Or maybe they are normally this slow?

315w of cmh? How high? the seedling looks good to me - it looks like it wants more light perhaps. But it sure has potential. You can bury that stem up to the cots if need be, no?

Hey, thanks for the response. The light is hanging approximately 5.5 feet above. I don’t want to bury it up to the stem because i am going to top dress later on in the grow so i want the space. Took another picture just now. DAY 7 still barely any growth. Pot seems light but still moist under the surface so i am going to hold off on any watering for at least a day.

Still barely any growth and day 10. Gonna hold off on watering for 1 more day because it still seems to have some weight to them.

Ahh....... they are "stretching" some for that light but you seem to have it in perspective............

Small plants in large pots are tough in the beginning. Alittle water at the base of the plant will help until its roots are larger

Glad to hear that i am not completely screwing this up. I would lower the light a little but my other plants are too tall. I am thinking about putting my 630 watt CMH ballast in because it is getting cooler outside so the tent should be a little cooler. I am not really a fan of the 630 watt though as the bulbs hang horizontally and concentrated so the heat can be a little too much underneath it. I wanna get 1 more sun system LEC but till then i guess this will have to do.

if light cant go down why not make the plant go up. stack some boxes or crap.

Yea i might do that or i am thinking of dropping the other 3 off the wire rack and on the drip tray (when tray is dry) I am a little nervous to do that though because i am using fabric pots and i am not really sure if it is a good thing for the bottom to stay wet.
