First Complete Grow Sucsessful!!!!

Ok guy and gals i just completed my first official indoor grow with florecent tubes. I will post pictures of the plants in progress all the way until harvest. I did however have a few issues along the way and maybe the feedback that i recieve from this will help for my next grow which will be hydroponic white widow.
















Clearly as you can see from the picks it look like i have 3 healthy female beauties but somewhere along the way i have a terible ending. My plants turned hermi i knwo have 3 plants that have beautiful fruity smelling buds that have seeds

I do have a few Questions on drying they are 3 days into drying and they smell like wet grass now instead of dank fruity pebbles Is this normal???

yeah i think thats normal give it a few weeks, longer if you want better bud no stronger buds ive tasted than the carefully cured 1 month buds. Obviously you would wanna take some out for smoking so don't take any out till at least a week. Theres ways to speed dry hurts quality though.

A few questions about your grow....what were the hours ran under? how often did you water? i can see in a couple of your pictures the top cola is almost touching the bulbs did that burn it? was your grow space light-proof in dark periods?

What sort of lights are those and how long did you veg the plants for? It looks good but maybe could have gone a few more weeks into flowering.

Thanks everyone i was using MG soild with added nutes i watered every third day or or fourth only watered when my meter said dry.I think i shoudl have went a little longer to but i went a full 9 and the buds smelled beautiful but they stopped growing in size. my grow room should havebeen light proof i covered windows and doors. I started the grow with grow lux bulbs in two 4' shoplights i waited until the plants were around 18" tall before i flowered. two weeks innto flowering i change the light to a high bay four made by lithonia that has 6 t8 bulbs temps in room stayed around 68-75F and humidity around 48-66.

I mistakingling did not weight it after cut and have yet to they are 4 days into drying so tomarrow i will check weight

Make sure you let us know the final dry weight as well

lol i might copy a picture of his grow, so any of these know-it-alls on here that say MG "never" works can shove it. Sure you can expect more with better soil but i hate how they act as though your gonna maybe get a gram or a completely dead plant lol.

but extra credit to you on that one those plants look extremely healthy and well nuted for MG soil. people would of tore you apart if you had posted your grow here saying you were planning to use MG soil sure proved them wrong

45 grams is what the two bigger plants weighed right before goin into curing. Smaller plant may produce 10 to 15 grams very very disapointing because that is weight with seeds what am i doing wrong????

I dont want this to happen with my white widow fem seeds!!!!!

Couple of people I know started out with MG and had very successful crops. You just have to be careful.

Tip - If using MG, I would Flush, Flush, Flush the soil before using it. Should take some of those time released nutrient away.

I don't feel so bad now, I'm using MG Compst to grow with and mine are 3.5 weeks into flower and they are all the lushest dark green plants. A couple of them are just bag seed Mexicans but going to get bud from them.

45 grams is good for a first time... MG is not ideal but hey you seemed careful with it (as you should be with all miracle gro nutes) and grew some decent plants. Only thing I can see is in some pics they look a bit stretchy, where possible keep the lights as close as possible, with fluoros try to keep em 1-5 inches away from the tops.

Did you particularly stress your plants in flower? have any bad nutrient burn (crispy leaf edges) or anything else... It's hard to tell what may have gone wrong as there are limited details on your grow. Maybe you just got unlucky, it happens from time to time. Double check the room for light leaks, turn everything off and stand in the room, it has to be pretty much pitch black. Anything more than moonlight intensity will more than likely affect your plants.

Make sure you read the hell out of how to do hydro, research the shit out of it lol because when things go wrong (overfeeding and deficiencies mostly) they go wrong fast, just be careful and keep reading. I'm venturing into true hydro next grow, I've only used passive hydro which imo is too easy, I like a challenge

Yes, I have to agree with you on the active hydro, I have three plants in DWC single 5 gal buckets. I have burnt them twice on accident with nutes and to my surprize no males, still to early to know if they hermi.

I am only 27 days into my first grow, but i am using MG 6 month soil with one part peat moss and 1 part peralite and am having very good growth so far i think, very bushy for less than a month.

Yes i did burn them with nutes in the begining because i had nuted soil and was adding mg plant feed on top of that and it burnt them. i will check the room for light leaks as of right now my lights are on 24 because i have seedlings trying to get ready for outdoors. i plan on eventially getting atleast a 400w MH but im going to veg my white widow with what i have.
