Day 56 of flower so just starting week 9. How much longer do you think these have before flushing and chopping?

Couple things. Don’t worry about flushing it’s not needed. You can cut down the feed a bit but don’t starve them at the end. Also you may want to wash those buds out as they have lots of pet hair in them. It’s hard to keep the pet hair out of the sticky but a simple wash before hanging will help remove a lot of it. Also don’t go by a time frame go by the tricomes or by what the plant is telling you. Most I think go by tricomes color. Most milky and amber is best. You can harvest the tops first and let the lower stuff finish since it’s hard to get all the buds to ripen at same time. I personally don’t worry about it and once I see some ambers I chop them but to each their own.

Thanks man! Yeah having 2 huskies makes it almost impossible to keep the hair out but I always clean the buds before I trim. So you just wait for some of the trichomes to turn amber and then you cut?

Yeah I got labs and it’s a PIA for sure but would have it any other way love my best friends lol. Yeah normally like 10-20% amber is what I go by. I’m sure some of the more seasoned growers will chime in as they may have better ways of telling but I think the majority go by tricomes.

Hey All,

Haven’t posted in a while. Last run was a successful one yielding 50ozs. I want to start again but was thinking of moving my grow into the garage. Though the heat in the summer can get the tent temperature up to 95 degrees when flowering and the lights are at 100%. Will I have any issues with those temps if I continue to water the coco with 60-70 degree water? I’ve had root rot issues in the past running DWC with those temps so I was wondering if I’d have the same problem with coco?

Thanks

95°F is far too hot; growth will grind to a standstill.

What do you think the ideal temp range would be? I could add an AC unit to cool the room but maybe I’ll just leave in the basement like I had for the prior run.

Update on my new run. Ethos Cherry Gar-see-ya. Just transplanted them into 5 gallon pots. 100% coco. They seem a bit droopy again like my last run at this time. About 3 weeks of veg and I topped and started training to mainline. I’m wondering if I watered too often to cause the droopiness. Coco is still damp so it can’t be underwatered. Anyone have some suggestions?

Are you watering daily? If so you can let them dry out some and see if they perk up at all. Just don’t let the coco go bone dry. I run coco drain to waste and I can let them go a day or 2 between watering and doesn’t affect them just make sure you get plenty of runoff when you do water them so it washes out any built up salts. Other wise they are looking good.

I was watering once a day in the 1 gal pots since they seemed to dry out after one day based on the weight of the pot. In the 5 gallon, I typically only have to water every 2-3 days while the plant is this size. Usually go up to once a day when they are flowering and drinking much more.

Doesn’t seem like it would be over watering at that rate so they should perk back up. It was probably just mild shock from the transplant. Do you use mykos when you transplant? If not give it a shot I think it works wonders to lessen the shock after the transplant but it may just be I’ve gotten better at transplanting to not shock them as much.

I would reach back and push that plug all the way in right away, loose connections no bueno. As for the droopiness, it could have been overwatering. Let them fill the new pots with roots before you start multifeeding, and they should grow out of it pretty quickly. Another reason for droopy leaves is if you increased the light % or lowered the light recently.
