First Coco grow

This is my first coco grow and my first shot at manifolding using nebulas instructions. They are in 5 gallon buckets 70/30 coco/perlite. 4x4 tent with a HLG600R LED light at 36inches off canopy. Temp in the tent is 65 degrees with light off and about 75 with light on. They are in week 3 of veg and they look a little droopy. I’m feeding GH Trio and CalMag and 1/4 strength once a day. Coco has been staying damp and never

Im wondering if I have any issues or should continue to keep watering once a day.

Also should I start to defoliate because a lot of tips are being covered by the big fan leaves.

Are you testing for PH or PPMs? Is the light at 100%? If so it might be a bit too close for now. Watering once per day is fine until the roots fill out the bags, then you can start feeding twice per day, but you need to get your PH/PPMs on point. No need to defoliate at this stage, I'd let them get a bit bigger and then do some supercropping and spread/tie down your branches to start shaping the canopy.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention yes I am testing PH and every feed is about 5.8 - 6.0. I also test PPM, my tap water is 300 ppm and I have been adding nutrients and calmag to get it to 700 ppm total. I try to water to a little bit of runoff.

With a coco/pearlite blend you better have a fire hydrant in your grow area. I have had great luck with coco, but it kept me running. Plants can be fully hydrated and from checking moisture recently seem fine. Ya walk in the next day......plant limp as a f'ing noodle............I had to check moisture daily......really keep an eye on it..........with that grow medium, a very porous, very breathable container and some fan action , moisture retention diminishes, which is okay if watered more often. ( this is just my opinion). If you were ever a fire fighter, ya got the skills.

I watered with a light feed this morning and it took quite a bit more water to get some run off so I’m thinking they were underwatered? Hopefully they’ll perk back up after their “nighttime” or I just made it worse by watering more. I guess we’ll see.

Plants need to be elevated above a tray, easy to get your 20% runoff then.Plants cant suck runoff back up you need to be able to remove it easily.Fix that and all will be well.

Based on the pics, you're not following Nebula's instructions for mainlining/manifold.
This is what they should look like.

Coco basics:
Feed at least once a day with mild nutes to substantial run off using a pH around 6.0.
Never plain water and never let it dry out.
Good luck.

Thinking you will be pleased with the HLG lamp. I just purchased the Scorpion Diablo and love it.

Hey Mick, I was following the instructions on this site. https://www.growweedeasy.com/manifold
It seems to be a bit different from what you are doing but yours obviously look much better. I feel like mine are a bit bushy and not much room between each node. Do you have a different set of instructions for what you are doing that you could provide?

Thanks for all the help!

Thanks Mick. A little different from what I’m doing I guess. And I guess I was not giving enough water as they seemed to perk back up already after giving extra water earlier today.
