First cloning attempt

So I'm going to try my first attempt at cloning just got a decent size white widow mother plant looks like there's about eight good cuts on her right now I have rooting gel, and I've Been reading that it will root right in coco coir, which I already have, has anyone ever done this? Or suggest something better to root it in any help would be great thanks

Edit- ive heard rock wool can be high in ph so would I be better off just going with the coco?

Coco is fine to root them in place a humidity dome should be fine.

So far I have a 90% success rate cloning.
I am only doing it with one plant but it is easy.

I use rock wool, substrate Doesn't matter.
You should have a plastic hood and a spray bottle,
a warming mat as well it does make them root faster.
I bought throw away scalpels on Amazon, cheap reusable. Razor blade works too.
I cut the clone from the plant and drop it in a glass of water.
I go to my table and first remove any lower growth.
I cut the bottom cleanly at 45 degrees.
Now looking at the face of your first cut split the 45 down the middle, this is a shallow cut.
I then scrape about 1/4" long strip of surface from the stem opposite the 45 .
Now I put them in a cup with rooting gel for 5 minutes and then I shove them in my rock wool, U can use your coco and a cup with drain holes.

I use Olivias Cloning solution at 1/2 strength, about 200 ppm to spray clones, ph to 5.95.
I use a 95 watt T5 fixture to light my clones.
Clones have no roots and need to draw in water via misting and humidity.
I mist 3x a day, each time misting the inside of the hood as well.
The overall moisture at over 80% will keep the coco or rock wool damp.
Roots will be out in 7-10 days, I have let them go longer but now I only go 10 days.
Have 2-4 fans on a clone and at least 3 nodes.
Cut off the tips of all fans, actually cut fans in half.
Keep cuttings moist till roots show.

Yea dog I've only just started using clones.I normally just go from seed but cloning is turning out to b a royal pain in the ass for me I do EVERYTHING you mentioned(after reading and viewing) hundreds of threads the only thing missing is the heat Matt.I have had about a 50% success rate but for me that is not good enuff.I need it upped considrrably so mabay a heat mate will help but until then SCREEMING at them will have to do lol.....

You could also use rapid rooters, I have tons of em laying around. Love em.

Yep that's how I got to my 50% had used jiffys(little success)Rockwool(0 success)plain water(0success)then onto rootriot cubes 40% success.....with Clonex that is....
