first cfl harvest/ dry weight?

Whatsup all?
This is my first attempt at growing with cfl's and am very happy with the results. :bigjoint: I just finished my first round of harvesting the plant and was wondering what anyone thinks the final weight dry weight will come about to? The nugs are very dense as this is purple kush. The top two nugs to the left side weigh 13.4 and 15.2 grams wet respectively. Sorry for the quality of the pic, only had camera phone available

if they are still pretty wet and have a fairly high but normal moisture content i'll guess the 2 top nugs will weigh 3.8 grams dry for the larger one and 3.35grams dry for the smaller one approximately.

From what I understand the dry weight is around 30% of the wet weight. Though, I've only been growing for a little while now, and only have one harvest under my belt, but I found this to be true more or less.

more or less- i came up with my guess using 25% of the wet weight

This is impossible without some standard for how dry they were at harvest. I never even weigh them until dry, why bother?

no point in getting yourself excited just wait till its dry and check. plus its kinda hard to have someone guess the weight by a picture of buds laying around

yea, very true, but when you have nothing to do but watch buds dry, its hard for me not to be curious haha. Anyways though, thanks to everyone who replied to my post

to answer your question is say AT LEAST an ounce. lookin good man. one plant? how many bulbs what wattage etc??????????

yea, it was one plant in a 3 gallon bucket with 8 cfl's (4 23w 3 46w and 1 35w) with a 100 watt hps light for the last half of flowering. All in all I am happy with the results. There is still another half of the plant to chop down as well :bigjoint:

What i do to check how much it will weigh after dry , is as soon as you cut'em down , weigh it all up , and say it weighs to , 100 grams , you will get half that , worked for me for 2 indoor grows and 1 outdoor grow , i had 6 ounes of wet bud , and i was left with 3 ounces dry bud, that could only be for me , who knows , but hope that helped , looks good tho

you lose more then half the weight drying unless you have some wet ass dry buds ^^ youll get like an ounce dry out of 100 grams wet

well to update ya'll on the weight as they were moving into jars. 36.3 grams, so a little bit over an ounce. And the rest of the harvest looks even more promising, thanks to you all for such posting your thoughts
