Just looking for a little feedback from the community, first CFL grow. Had some issues with sex first time so I suppose technically this is the 2nd time around, 1st with a female. Anyway onto the specifics:

started flowering on 4/20 (awesome date for her to start budding if i dont say so myself)
2 65w 2700k CFLs 2 26w 2700k 2 26w 6000k.
MG potting soil
no additional nutes yet.

Thanks in advance for any advice/input you all have to offer :-D

Agreed, they look great. Maybe that'll convince some of the other guys to upgrade to the 65 watt CFls, which are well worth the investment, IMO.

Oh yeah....you can also tell all those "don't use tinfoil, or it'll burn your plants!" people, to kiss you ass.LOL

(it isn't an issue, unless you're using high-powered HIDs)

Yeah I would definately say that the 65w bulbs were an awesome addition, especially @ only $15 a piece @ home depot, we've spent that on smaller CFLs for around the house before and got nowhere near the lumes. The one thing I did notice is that we could NOT find a 65w for veg (6000k) we did find them online, as well as for order at a specialty light shop. Owner said its because folks dont like the softer more "daylight" like lighting, and they dont look good in most any glass fixtures so most stores dont stock them.

But ya'll think theyre good as far as not needing any nutes or anything? like i said it was Miracle grow potting soil (yay costco special) so I havent added anything in fear of nute burning..especially since MG advertises on the packadging "6 months of nutes" some kind of time release system i suppose....

Ive had a couple folks mention the tin foil thing, but 2bhonest the only "burning" on the plants ive had to worry about so far was when she grew too fast right up into the 65w'er (like...inside the spiral) in just under 24 hours since the bulbs are so much closer in CFL grows. and that one leaf got totally scortched but only in the exact spot it was touching the bulb...now i check the hight every 6 hours lol....

OH...im not sure it was clear in my first post or the pictures, but this is just one lady :-)
