First CFL grow

I germinated 9 bag seeds 3 days ago using the paper towl method and all the seeds cracked after 24 hours.
I then planted the 9 seeds into small rockwool cubes with MG seed starting potting mix. its been two days and nothing has broken through the soil. I have 1 150 W equivalent CFL and a 300W equivalent hang about an inch from the the soil w/ reflectors.
I plan to keep at least 3 plants to grow, and I plan to add another 300W CFL at sometime.
As of now I have the lights running 24hr.
Hopefully they will sprout as I approach day 3.
Ill have pictures up soon!
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its been 7 days since germination and 3 days since breaking soil! today i moved the the rockwool cubes to stirofoam cups, since the roots were showing at the bottom. I filled the bottom of the cups an inch 1/2 or so of soil with %12 nitrogen since the seedling soil was low in nitrogen. I also narrowed the plants down to four.

on the last picture i posted: this plant grew 3 rounded fetal leaves and 3 single rigid leaves, instead of growing 4 leaves in the beginning, what does this mean? i never grew a plant that started out like that

cut it now to 18-6 nd dont add anything like nitrogen or whateva...water evry 2 days or so and dont put it to close id say 2-3 inches tops if ur using alot of watts..but cfls dont get that hot usually warm

nice im pleased with the whole op so far. From what i see it looks like i have 3-4 different strands, which will be cool to experiment with in the near future. Im think of doing LST at some point but i need to read more about it.

could just be me but from those first pics those lights look like the wrong spectrum for vegging unless these are autoflowering strains.

yea... those lights are good for flowering, I recently put a 100w cfl blue spectrum to the side, but it isnt hanging

your probly going to want more blue spectrum(daylight) then red for a solid productive veg period.

uhm what kind of soil are you using? it may already have nutes in it.... if so id wait another week or wait for alittle sign of nute def. then started at 1/4 strength

the soil has does have nutes, but its not as potient as the soil ill transplant in later. so far i have been watering with no nutes.

keep watering with no nutes and yah you probly wont need that for awhile if the soil your transplanting into is even more potient, they are showing any signs of definecy yet so id say leave it.
