First CFL grow:Purple Maroc

I am on day 17 providing 5500k lumens for 24/7. Will be topping by the end of this week and then again in 2 more weeks. in another 2 weeks i will top once again and let my baby Veg till she is 3.5 ft tall. She will then go into flowering how does she look guys?

Whats ur cfl setup???

cuz veggin to 3.5 feet to flower with cfl aint really gonna work unless you got ALOT of bulbs

u can start flowerizing now if u want

2Supra4u: Well as of now I only have one 5500k cfl directly over it. I have attempted to do a grow last year but because of certain reasons i was not able continue my grow. I had 6 5500k lumen cfls for 3 plants and they were enough. My girls were greener than green and healthy to the point were i had to transplant constantly because of root bound. they were so healthy a tornado could not have knocked them over. I will take your advice, i mean the only reason i was planning to let it go for 3.5ft was because i am going to top it about 3 times and then lollipop her. I have great nutes and plenty of light but then again when i really think about it and let her grow that big i might end up with long slender airy buds. This is my second attempt for indoor cfl so i will take any advice you guys can give me

So i have some news for you guys! On day 18 i decided to top my girl most people would say o its too early but ive done this before and from my experience i know what i am doing. I am not sure how tall i should allow her to grow so if there is any opinions out there let me hear them. The temperature in my grow room is 83.5 and the humidity is 18% seems very low I think i will moisten an old tshirt and hang it in my grow room. Well here are some pics for you guys.

Okay you guys we are on day 23 and i have some updates. So 5 days ago i had topped my girl and here is how she looks like on day 23. I accomplished what i wanted to do and i will have 4 main colas . i can start seeing the new growth coming in. I will keep an eye on the structure of my plant and see if i get rid of the lower nodes(lollipopping).

She looks very much LOVED I have 4 tops on my 3 ladies too, seems to be workin out so far. Keep up the good work with that girl

it might be the lighting, but it looks really dark green.

how much have you fed? could be the later stage of over Nitrogen

also the leaves are curled upward....its either heat stress, overfert or is salt buildup in the soil.

What kind of N are you feeding the gals? They look a nice shade of darker green that I would like to achieve. Im using some 5-1-1 fish emulsion and my green is way lighter.

6500K will get you there quicker and fuller. GE Energy Smart daylights are 6500k..........Walmart. i like the 100W eqivalent.
