Who cares, chop it when your ready Pukka. The proof is in the pudding. Take a sample and try it. The taste won't be great but will give you an indication of the stone you will get. Too many people are growing snobs. That stuff you have Pukka is going to be excellent if you chop it now or 4 weeks later!!!! FACT

It will just taste a bit shit coz its been fast dried and not cured but will defo get you ripped. As soon as most of the trich's are cloudy then chop m8 if you want that head high, but I can say for certain you still will be knocked for six. LOL. Its strong shit when you do it yourself. Its not be bagged and handled lots of times. Remeber the iced grapefruit I had, I chopped when mostly cloudy and yes it did give you a head rush but the mong'd feeling crept up on you. BIG TIME. lol

Lmao, this happened the first time i smoked my lemon haze. Loaded up my bong a few times like I would with the shitty weed we have round here and then all of a sudden I was melting onto my bad. Monged me big style lol.

you should find the earlier you chop the more trippy it is, ive chopped from as early as 4-5 weeks flower just to try, like somone else here said trychs arent the whole story, i got a microscope but never use it mate, its all down to preference but im sure you are going to be happy.

my 2pence... wait till the fucker swells up then pull it down, thats when she's done hahaha i stopped checking all that, run it for more weeks if u want knock out sleepy gear, nearer the recommended breeders info floweing time if u want ur head high type thing.

I agree with this method. It's how I've done my previous two harvests. I actually just burped my jars that are curing now. It's been two weeks since harvest and about 9-10 days in jars. I use wide mouth 1qrt size mason jars. I went to a cigar shop and bought a little round hygrometer that I stick on the inside of the lid(comes with a magnet). I just move it fro
Jar to jar 1-2 times per day. This gives me a good feel on which jars need to burp more. Seems to work for me! Most of mine are in the 60-65% RH range right now. Just started toking on some of it. Curing is definitley the way to go!!!

I don't know if you read my post but I said pretty much the same thing about amber trichs.

You read that a clear trich indicates peak potency in a couple threads, I read the same ones, doesn't mean it's true. I just chose to go with what most people have such success with.

It says on the seed pack mate70-80 days so if it goes 80 i got like 2 weeks and 5 days mate........ill get some good pics thursday and you guys can let me no what you think!

Does it have to be glass jars mate can you use plastic tubs the kind with the rubber seal around and clips??

I think people use glass jars because they are as air tight as you can get, also the glass isn't porous at all so nothing can get in or out. With that being said, those tubs should work fine. I cured some of mine in a zip lock bag lol.

Hi WOW buddy, i no pal your SLH looked beautifal in those bags, Ive been lookin at jars but they pretty expensive and if i got say 4oz id need a few to cure it all..you can get the big better ware tubs with the snap locks on the side for like £4 each and i reakon you'd get 2oz in 1 easy!!!..i was just wonderin if they would be ok, thanks for clearin that up for me mate!

Not that it matters much, but I didn't get that info from RIU. I've seen it here since I first read about it, but I've been harvesting this way for about 1-1/2 years now. The thing that made me start to question it was the fact that not all of my strains turn amber, and my Super Lemon Haze has cloudy trich's from about week four of 12/12. I didn't just read a couple of threads and take that for gospel, I don't operate that way, there's too much bad info floating in the ether. Thanks for assuming though.

And my response when I quoted you was directed at you for telling the guy that by the time the calyx's swell you'll have 50% amber trich's, that's just not true as blanket statement. I have strains that just don't turn amber, and some that do. I think trichomes are a very unreliable way to gauge your harvest, and a lot of the trich's will turn amber as the buds dry too...
