First bubble hash attempt.. here goes nothing

so this is my first attempt at it using dried and cured popcorn of c99..
The buds aren’t very resinous so well see..
They do smell amazing, not very pungent but like a grape fruit sliced in half

I did a bit of reading but couldn’t come out with an answer as to wether leave the buds as they are or grinding them..

I ended up putting small pices in a grinder and giving it a 1/4 to 1/2 turn..

I started with 32 g of pop corn to 1/2 g nugs
and ended up with 30.6 when ground up and had no stems in it..

Ill post my run in a bit..

The heads get mashed up with the plant material and the hash ends up less pure. Especially if the starting material is dry. Just throwing that out there since you mentioned not finding info about that.

so how would i go about everything if i do 2 os of 1+ g nugs??
I think the majority of the trichs would stay within the nug... am i wrong???
 
Not grinding would’ve been way easier i just think that the return would be way less since even popcorn buds would keep things trapped in them...
 
so i dried out everything and grated if after the dry..
A bit of moisture still but pulled off 1.8g
I left alot on the screen so closer to 2 but then again not fully dried
