This is the first time I’ve grown autos. The three of them are getting very close, “it’s ‘bout harvest time”. Each time I put it off, thinking one is ready maybe next week, and the others in 2 weeks - That time comes and I think one of the slower ones is now looking the closest to done, and the closest one is now not in a huge rush... for the last almost 4 weeks.
“Ignore guesstimated harvest time from the breeder, it’s only a guideline” you say? Done n done (65-70d), I stopped counting past 90 days sometime last week, so we’re good to go there.
“Wait 3 weeks from signs of plant/fan leaves going “fall”/seasonal.” Yes I am from SoCal, I do know what spring and fall looks like. One plant has been showing signs for a little over 3 weeks, one for a solid 2 weeks, and maybe 5 days ago the last one is starting the same turn
“Trichomes, clear > cloudy > amber”. The one that first/most turned fall color also had its trichs cloud up the slowest (I’m kinda confused by this the most but chalking it up to strain/pheno and noobism). And the frostiest/cloudiest two plants just keeps throwing more fresh pistils and swelling up more the last two week. Those two are sisters, same strain etc, except one I carefully attempted to top at the right time (it’s fascinating, I’m learning and excited at the difference so far). I got Goldilocks tied up in the back of my time machine, ready to go back 3 days in time for when I achieve that perfect mostly cloudy with only the right amount of amber…. That being said, I had planned to harvest them “soon”, but the fresh pistils have me in a loop.
It’s been 15 years since I’ve grown (photos outdoor/gorilla), and I didn’t give 20% of an effort to anything back then. I’m smart and wise enough now to know a lot more, including that I don’t know jack shit.
Excuse my indecisiveness, lack of experience, and other first world problems. Please share opinions and criticism with me, I welcome it. Not even going to say which I think is now or later imho, it’s pointlessly flopping the last 3-4 weeks. Thank you folks.

She threw a bunch of fresh clear trichs almost two weeks ago that just today have shown uniform cloudiness.
