first attempt at hydro, cant believe these roots!!

So here's what I got goin.

1 rubbermaid container ( the longer shallower kind

Hydro baskets, hydroton, and those little rooting cubes.

2 Alaskan Thunderfuck clones, taken from a flowering plant

1 bagseed plant, came from humboldt.

2 water pumps and airstones

fox farms grow big nutes, switching to tiger bloom today to start flowering.

first try at hydro, cant believe how much faster growth is compared to soil! the roots seem to grow nonstop, and are bigger every time I look.

took a couple pics, let me know what you think, any feedback appreciated.



as far as pictures, have one up close of one of the ATF plants, close up of roots, and close up of the bagseed plant

looking good,although you may want to look into a feeding schedule for the nutes.I use FF and have better results using all of them in concert

yea i've been changing the water and nutes about every two days. I had it in a 14 gallon rubbermaid container, but talk about a pain tryin to change the water in that..

do you mean like several times daily?

I change my 15 gallon res. 1x a week.Lets say for my moms,I'll use 3tsp of Grow Big per gal.,2 tblspoons of Big Bloom per gallon,and 1 tsp of Tiger Bloom per gallon to induce more pre flowers,and some FloraNectar for brix.Then I top it off with fresh ph'd water daily until the next week,adding no new nutes until then

what you got goin on in your picture? how many plants and everything?

They sell the nutes,as well as the supplements in a three pack,if you have the money.Once into flower,they'll want/need the supps.Open Sesame,Beastie Bloomz,and Cha Ching.NO Joke...NYC Diesel day 34 in flower,40" tall

In the tray is White Rhino in the back corners,the tall Sativas are NYCDiesel,the iIndicas are Northern Lights,Mazar x Afgan,and Trainwreck.All total like 20 plants in the tray.From 3 months old to weeks old....

just got back with some baskets and flora nova nutes. lol, hope its ok to use with foxfarms but it was cheaper and has balanced ph, and i didnt see the other fox farm ones there..but yea, i have some cha ching, and its done wonders for my first plant. bout to harvest and its exploding with crystals lol. well i'll see how things are goin in a few days and post more pics
