First All CFL Grow

Hey growers, been a member and lurkin around for a while but this is my first journal on RIU. This is not my first grow, my most recent harvest was about 7 months ago under a 150w hps. i got 3 dry ozs off of 2 plants i topped and lst'd. i kept them pretty short and i plan to do the same with these.
So far i have 2 plants that i am waiting on to see some sex from and i have 4 seedlings. None of them have vegged for long, i just switched to 12/12 on the 21st.
ENVIORMENT: Closet
SOIL: 60/40 MG Seedling Soil/MG Perilite
LIGHTS: 6 26w CFL's(Much more to come)
NUTES: Fox Farm Tiger Bloom

I also stopped by homedepot and found a compressed block of coco fibers that expands to 8qts for 3 bucks, i had to get it. so the seedlings i have now in plastic cups are gonna b transfered into that. All comments, advice, and suggestions are more than welcome.

Looking at that pic the first thing that jumps out at me is you need more CFL's but you already know that. :leaf:

Coco is great to grow in. Just make sure it has been flushed and properly ph'ed to no higher than 6 before repotting.

O yeah, i ordered a 125w cfl and i shorted it like a dumb ass. so im acually going out to walmart tonight to pick up another 6 pack of 26w's. Then later on i plan on ordering a fresh bulb for my 150w Hps. As far as the coco goes should i add perlite around 80coco/20perlite or will the drainage be good enough

Sorry I do not use perlite. I use coco chips at about the same ratio. The drainage is amazing in coco. Once you get going with it you'll see how good a medium it is to grow in.

Cool i'll deff try that combo. So i jus went to the store last night to get more lights and jus like i expected they didnt have a dual bulb sockets so i had to make up a lil somethin until i go to homedepot and get some. i got 6 more 26w 1650k cfls bringing my total wattage to 312. I still plan on getting more light. i was jus in another thread and a grower got 3 ozs dry from one plant and 300w and i wanna do atleast 2 small plants

Wen I got home today I decided to do a lil lst'ing to of my 2 biggest sprouts. I also fimmed the biggest one. Checked my coco peats and 3 more seeds popped giving me 8 seedlings. On one of them it has a weird deformity, it has a 3 leaf node :) IMG_20130430_013822.jpg

I am using miracle grow seedling soil this time too and perlite. The soil is 5-5-5 and perlite is 5-1-2. I also use the kind of bin you are using but mine is laying on its side

They were 12/12 from seed. The og kush was 73 days when I cut. The other is right at three months!

Hey folks so another trip to walmart today and grabbed another 6 pack of 26w cfl's. Switched up the grow space. I seperated the sprouts and the seedlings I have 2x26w over the seedlings and 15x26w over the 2 bigger plants. Pics up in a sec. 390watts baby lol
