finishing with multiple strains

I'm setting up a single reservoir bubbleponics system and growing three strains, eldorado, blackjack and white widow at the same time. One of each.
Ive got a couple questions. About the nutes, lets say that one of the plants can handle a full dose, but the other one is getting burned. Can nutrient burn kill a plant, even if it's mild?
My other question, once one of the plants in finished flowering, even though the others are not, is it safe to withhold the nutrients for a couple weeks to flush the plant out for harvest, and then continue feeding the other two once that plant is gone? Please advise.

If you have different strains that finish at different times then you should opt for different res' for each strain. Witholding nutes from a plant for prolonged periods while you "flush" others could cause you serious nutrient def's at a time when stress can be disastrous.


Mild nute burn will still cause stress but generally not death, unless it was severe, the idea behind HYDRO is to use similar or the same strain so they all finish together.


2 weeks of "flushing" will cause the unfinished plants to have serious def's that would probably not correct even once feeding resumes.

My advice would be to grow only one strain under each light. I tried growing 4 strains under one light and there's been a lot of compromise. The pineapple chunk, for example, tends to steal the light from the other plants: white widow, super skunk, and raw diesel.

It takes a long time for a mj plant to become over ripe I grow multiple strains in a nft system never had a problem along as they are all put in flower at the same time I have 2 ppp and2 white rhino now growing one ppp has been done for the last 8 days must be a fast finishing pheno smells like bubble gum the other ppp Is a about 10 days behind even though they was putinto flower at the same time my other ppp has bigger buds kinda like a lemony smell to them along as there is no longer then 2 weeks ish between plants finishing flowering just let the slower mj catchup and flush with nothing but water at the end
