Finishing flowering with < 12 hrs dark

Can you finish flowering with < 12 hours of dark per day? I'm around week 6 of flowering and was wondering if this would push it to bigger buds at the end. Will you get larger buds?

your going to have to give more info than that, there is only 24 hr in a day ,no really if you want bigger and harder buds and depending on the strain ,your lights can have a lot to do with it ,for instance 400 ,600 ,1000 watt lights all have there benefits and also you have all types of lighting that a lot of people have there on opinions of them all, the decision is yours . i use 2- 400 watt MH for veg and 2- 400 watt MPS for flower in a 7x7x8 room and i think they are good but others would insist on 1000 watt would be better .i grow my own medicine so quanity isn't that important to me ,quality is you feel me so again the decision is in your ball park .hope this helps

wtf is the "bump, bump" for?

Since indoor was conceived, it's been run 12/12. Each strain is different. Imagine outdoor... later in the year there is less than 12 hours of light, but only in certain spots on the planet.

Leave it 12/12, or do a run with something less and let us know how you made out. If you do run something less than 12/12, run the EXACT same situation on 12/12 after that for comparison, and advise what worked better.

yes you can give them 11/13 or even 10/14.
Either way . if you give them more dark , they will flower faster and finish earlier , but you will lose yeild , not the other way arround.

Unless you are in a hurry for them to finish stick with the 12/12

The only reason you would want to give them less than 12 hours of light is to cut down on mite reproduction (they need 12 hours of light to reproduce). Outside of that, you wont save enough on your power bill to make a difference and you buds will be smaller. Light is food. If you give them less food, they will produce less.
