PICS WILL BE UP SOON!! This thing is great, wardrobe box from uhaul. Mylared the inside and made a door. Got a 4inch fan at the top for exhaust homemade carbon scrubber, room for about 4 plants 3xG13 Haze Barney's, and one Durban poison. They are all femmed so it should be an awesome grow, plenty of room inside this box for these girls. I will post pics asap and you can check this thing out.....it is virtually light proof i will be transplanting my veg in there today as well as getting some nutrients. This thing is 4'x2'x21" very nice and very stealthy

You've got two plants in there? That's about right for that size box. Man, that's really flimsy looking; don't know that it'll make it through the grow but wish you the best.

ha yeah we're not puttin it in the middle of the room its going in the closet we just had it out there working on it. Had to get a few more things before it gets moved into the closet. As for the supplies, just went to uhaul and bought a box layered it with mylar. Cut a large slit down one side as a door. Went to radio shack and bought a 4 inch computer fan and cut a hole in the top of the box. Filter goes over it. And for the filter go to https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html

dude, i gotta tell you. that setup won't last. In and out all day, water and lights and all that shit...It just wont hold up. My recc. is to take it easy on the box, and get a more sturdy one for the next time, or mid grow switch. Heres my box (1st try). I'll change to a grow tent next time.

Strip the wires on the fan. Find a power supply (old cell phone chargers are good), strip the wires on that. Match up the colored wires-twist-seal with electrical tape or caps. Plug in.

As for that box!?
I used foam-core plastered in mylar while my plants were in their first month but the foam-core wasn't ever supporting equipment, equipment was all hung on a closet rod in my closet above the box I made. Eventually I tossed the box and just used the entire closet structure. I am looking into purchasing a melamine wardrobe cabinet for my flower chamber and am worried about my 250s HID being too hot for melamine/plywood let alone too hot for cardboard! It could work friend but I wouldn't leave it in the house alone during lights on - at all - I suffered one too many house fires caused simply by an incandescent lamp near to a stuffed animal.

Nice. What kind of lighting system are you using in there?

I have seven plants flowering in a U-haul wardrobe box right now. I constructed it for housing my mother plants, but i had some plants that were ready for flowering, so I postponed moving my moms into their new home just so I could see what kind of buds I would get using CFLs (I've only used HPS up until now). Really just an experiment...obviously,I don't expect to get huge yields, but I'm planning to permanently switch from closet grows to (smaller) cabinet-style grows for the near future, so this allows me to test out different pot sizes, exhaust fans, etc. to see if I'll be able to produce sufficient quantities (for my own personal use only) in a 2' x 2' box. So far it's working very well...temps easily stay below 80 deg F with only three pc fans (two running constantly, and one thermostatically controlled to turn on at around 82 deg). One thing I've found about these small cabs, though... the heat can build up VERY quickly if the ventilation isn't good. My box easily shoots up past 85 deg within minutes if I open the top without opening the door at the same time - and I only have three 42w 2700K bulbs in there.

I lined mine with 6 mil black and white poly...and I constructed a PVC frame with plywood shelves to fit inside, so this thing is quite solid, and it's not much of a hassle when I spill water on the inside. I have it elevated off the floor (and on wheels) on a furniture dolly, so I don't worry too much about the box getting wet on the outside either. I keep it nearly against the wall in the garage, and the door and fan outlets are on the "back" side of the box, so it's very stealthy (aside from the slight noise of the fans)...blends in very well with the other boxes we have stored there.

I don't have any carbon filters on it now (since it wasn't really intended for flowering), so it's starting to smell a little (almost four weeks on 12/12)...but I recently set up my inline fan with a carbon filter on top of the box, and that's doing a good job of minimizing any odors (so far). It's only been less than four weeks on 12/12 though, so I'm expecting a lot more stink in the next month or so. I'm working on setting up another wardrobe box for a more serious (HID) grow...using an inline fan with carbon scrubber. I'd like to get a 250w HPS in there, but I'm not sure if the heat won't be a problem in a box this size. As I said, I'm used to growing in slightly larger spaces, so it's a learning experience for me so far. Once I get my real flowering wardrobe box set up, I'll put my old 150w HPS in first just to see how difficult it is to control temps with an HID in there.

Anyways....here are some current pics of mine.
