Its quiet normal once the leaves cant be used by the plant anymore the will eat em self and go yellow and fall off if the rest of the plant is healthy dont worry r there leaves that receive fck all light its quite normal if was nitrogen def that starts at the top of the plant

i tend to agree with this line of thinking.. so long as it's only an occasional leaf here and there, this is perfectly normal ime, as plants age, some leaves will die off, and the plant will usually grow a few new ones in the process.
if's it's more then a handful, i'd say you've got something else going on though..

get a magnifying glass, and get a real close look. sounds like nanners to me, but maybe not...

Sorry for the delay, That is a strong light source, but is it just one light from the top? For how many plants?
When you look at your plant, can you actually see light reaching the yellow leaves? Or, can you see any shadows on your plant, anywhere the light isn't covering?

If you try adding some light or just changing the angle so that more light gets deeper, please let me know if the leaves change color.
I'd also be interested to see some pictures if you wanted to post them.
