Yes, it is illegal to discriminate - however, the sad truth is, there are lots of ways around that. For instance - the company you're applying at can say, for example, that you aren't the candidate they are looking for, or perhaps you're "overqualified" for the position - and so on - when in reality it is based on your background. Good luck proving it, however.i think there some kinda law about how a person cant be disseminated against if it doesn’t directly relates to the job…
