Finally got a few of my new leds up

So last fall I bought 6 of the growers choice roi-e720 watt leds...anyways still kept running my HPS but decided it was time to throw up a few of the leds. I have about a quarter of my flower room full with plants so put up 2 of the leds so far. I will fill the rest of the flower room with plants in the next 3-4 weeks as well as hang the other 4-720w leds.
Anyway upgrading and redesigning is a grind...thought I was going to have to move back a wall to fit the leds cause these things are huge but ended up having to redirect my house water line that was causing the obstruction. Had to cut and break the old water line. So I got rid of it and upgraded the water line to pex/pvc so line is more flexible...my r/o filter line also runs from here. Plants I have in the flower room now are gushmints, grandi guava, and tiki rum cake. This pic is just 2 of the 720w units side by side so you can get an idea of how big these are, I underestimated the size even with measurements, lol.
Sweet room my guy !

I imagine between the efficiency of the LEDs and the lower heat (less use of the mini-split), those lights should eventually pay for themselves.

Was there any adjustment you had to make in terms of monitoring the heat after the switch, or was the system able to easily compensate? When I grew in a somewhat insulated garage, after I switched from HPS to COBs I had to add heat to the room in the dead of winter. Now I'm down to a single tent in the house, but similarly I'm still using those 'old' COBs, and haven't upgraded to QB's because I would need to add heat to the tent if my system got any more efficient.

My dehu pretty much running most of the time will heat my room when lights are out pretty sufficiently. This transition has been pretty easy, my mini split a/c is pretty much over sized for what I'm going to be running, so its definitely not going to be working as hard as when under the HID since with led I'm running a bit higher temps and a bit higher RH%

I re read your lighting again.. HOLY HELL..

How big is this room?

Are you running all 6 of the 700+ watt leds in this room?

This room looks smaller then my room but wow that lighting is where Im trying to get my wife to sign off on..

Fek me, 4200+ watts of LED's? Sounds like that could pull some serious weight.
and blow some fuses, I'm not jelly at all...

Those lights are incredible. Multiple friends here running them. Customer service is awesome. One neighbor has one the master controllers. Humidity readings started getting weird and he tracks it to one of the sensors. Calls GC and tells them what is happening. They immediately apologized and sent 2 new sensors out that day. No argument. No asking it be sent back first.

But the buds this guy grew under the 720 were world class.

Ya I heard a few funky things about the master controller...one thing I read online recently was that the master controller was flipping the lights on and back off during lights off. Dude was lucky and think he might have had a camera in growrrom otherwise he wouldn't have known or it would've took him a while to find out. After reading didn't make me want to run out and buy a gc master controller to say the least lol.

I’ve heard some weird stuff. Or read it. But the guys running them here haven’t had any issues other than a faulty sensor. They’re ridiculously priced in my opinion.

Blow some fuses...never blown a fuse once.. clearly you didn't read that my lights are all on a light controller that is wired to its own 30 amp circuit in my breaker box, all this was done by a professional electrician that is a good friend, also had my mini split a/c wired to it own circuit as well also done my him and a HVAC buddy. Doing shit right lessens your chances of things like blowing fuses. By the way people have 50- 100 of these lights hooked up and dont blow fuses. I'm going to have 5 of them going in the room, thats really not that much.

I'm pretty good friends with the local hydro owner near me so reason I went with the GC roi-e-720's is he told be if there is ever an issue with the light I bring it in and pick up a new light no ?'s asked, also he hooked me up on the price at the time and I like spending money with him, you know shop main st/local and all... anyways that sounded good to me and I'll be back in 2 years for my new lights, lol.
