Final Phase 2017 Grow

Making changes for 2017... Twenty two plants instead of trying to cram in thirty plants.

14 Afghani, 2 Northern Lights, 2 Cherry Wine (no thc), and 1 big plant of Girl Scout Cookies. No Sativa dominate... Tired of having two harvests each grow...

Girl Scout Cookies top center - Northern lights lower center

Decided to go this run using XNutrients for vegging. Worked well for me in the past and I like their pricing - I use 2/3 what they recommend in addition to micro crap for the soil, bat guano every third watering, and ph down.

Running - 2400 watt MH and 2 - 300 watt cheapo Amazon LED's

Current plan is to veg them for 8 more weeks then flip in mid March.
Flower time on this grow is going to be LONG!
Will wait for 50 percent amber trichomes - I'm guessing they will take about 105 + flower days to finish.













The trird plant on the lower left was exchanged for a larger plant of Island Sweet Skunk.





I threw this shot of the mother room in because I like the trippy look.



Any comments or questions are welcome...

I dig your setup...pun intended. Gives me ideas for an outdoor shed with no flooring. Never thought of that!

Thanks Joe - I started out with a 3 X 5 X 5 space a many years ago... Finally getting the results I need for meds for myself, friends, and family...

That's great man. Do you just reammend the soil after your done and hoe the roots?

You got it. A sheriff came by almost 2 years ago and told me I had "beautiful plants!" The weird thing about his visit was he told me I should start growing in buckets because environmentalist have been complaining about what it does to the soil. I guess he meant I should also get the water run off? Anyway, you can see I didn't take him up on that suggestion... He sure was a cool peace officer!

He does sound chill. Yeah I definitely gotta see when I get a shot at this. I was thinking that, runoff and what not could be controlled by lining the holes with plastic on sides to prevent unwanted runoff from sides.still great space man.

5 Northern Lights
5 Cherry Wine

These will be huge by June... Made up 30 due to thinking of enlarging grow room ONE MORE FREAKING TIME !

Thanks Joe - I began growing under my house about 15 years ago. After this grow the space will be enlarged by taking down half the walls and relocating. The space is complete with an upstairs closet entry and entire space can be bolted from the inside. Secutity isn't quite the issue it used to be, but it's nice to be able to leave the house for a week or so without security concerns.

That's good to hear man. Since I saw your first post, love the setup. Security isn't much a concern my way either. I try to stay relatively off the grid. What nutes you usin?

Vegging - Half recommended amounts of Grow Xnutrients, Xnutrients micro nutrients, and bat guano. Plants start out with a healthy blend of soil amendments of perlite, spirulina, Foxfarm Ocean Forest, and some of the crappy soil from under the house...

Flowering -
I have no idea at this time. I've used a wide assortment of products from Advanced N. to Soup and all the Nuts!

What I do know is I have at least 2 months to figure out what the heck will be used.
One thing that is very cool for my growing now is I'm not strapped for cash - So I'll get whatever comes to me as the
best I can get my hands on.

This grow will be kick ass for several reasons - One of the biggest is I can finally afford to light the heck out of the space instead of trying to get the grow in as cheap as possible. In addition this grow will mark the first time I've ever taken the ladies on a long walk before harvest. I'm planning on going 105 to 120 days to get trichomes well into amber land!

That's great. That's always a big obstacle for me, cash and time available to enter the right area of trichome preference. Looking forward to see you start flower. Hopefully gonna be upgrading my lights within the next month or so as well. For flower I dig the ff line but I've had good results with an too. I prefer to make my own organic mix to just water with phd water but couldn't this go round.

Made some major changes and bought nutrients for next couple years... Working in a narrow space made for me banging my head on the lights and needed a bit more room so the walls came down. Just need to redo the mother room and get some dirt removed to make space for 4 more good sized plants. Got a killer deal on first generation digital ballast - Purchased 3 - Kit included digital ballast, 1 600 watt hps bulb, and socket/hood = $80.00

Decided to go with Xnutrients full lineup. Really like their prices. I've used thier vegging nutrients before. This time I'll find out how their flowering nutrients work.

Wife and I went to the High Times Cannabis Cup last summer with intent to buy CBD only strains. Picked up 10 seeds for $150... I got it from a company called Greenpoint.




Strain info says it puts out O THC, CBD's are 15 to 25% depending on how soon it's harested. It's suggested to let it ride a while if you want 25%.

I'll never take a bunch of cash to have a good time at another cup festival - There were about 40 booths set up for all the dabs, etc. you could help yourself to... One can only get so ripped as one has to drive home at some point!

Holy Cow! So many ways to screw up... In the process of covering all insulation in the ceiling. Just happened to notice I had stupidly
put a staple in the freaking fire sprinkler system... Duh!






Next thing to get is a product I'm checking out that runs everything from a smart phone. I want to know everythings cool when I'm away from home... It's too expensive loosing plants just because something lame like a fan going off for long periods of time.

The sprinkler system came with the house... Shouldn't have a fire problem in this garden...
