Final details: Undercurrent DWC pipe height?

How much distance from the bottom of the grow site do you put the return pipe? (that goes back to reservoir)

2" in my case, using Uniseals.

i put mine underneath the tote so i could fully drain the system. if not, you get a few inches of water left behind.

as low as you can get them. if putting them on the bottom is an option, go for that

That last inch or so of water is easily taken up with a wet vac.

Definitely the most optimal. I regret not including this in my design originally. Nice

instead of bulkheads, i used shower drains. same/same basically. but local ACE has them and it even includes the metal grate to keep out wayward hydroton, etc.
