Fighting for success with a Pledge

I am attempting my 5th grow from seed. I have not been this engaged in succeeding at anything in a long time. I have secretly pledged to myself to not ingest any Herb until I succeed at my first Harvest. I know that a lot of folks out there would never make it that long with out a smoke. Also, I understand that most of you reading this have already experienced the incredible sense of accomplishment that comes with one's first harvest. I need your wisdom, input, and encouragement. Please feel free to post, comment, & criticize.

This grow log will show my attempt at growing 2 x Dutch Passion's Think Different and 1 x Dutch Passion's Auto Mazar which were purchased in the original sealed metal containers through Seedsman.

I am growing in a 4 ft x 4 ft by 80 inch tall Vivosun grow tent with a top Amazon rated 900 Watt equivalent LED grow light. All 3 seeds were germinated in a glass of water for 24 hours until the root just slightly began to show then they went into Vivosun 5 gallon fabric pots. I am growing 1 x Think Different in Ocean Forest soil, 1 x Auto Mazar in Ocean Forest soil, & 1 x Think Different in Happy Frog soil. All soils have been mixed with 30% Vigoro Perlite. These particular genetics do not show signs of Nutrient Burn in the Ocean Forest soil.

The Think Different planted in the Ocean Forest soil is totally outperforming the Think Different planted in the Happy Frog soil. The Auto Mazar may have gotten a jump start, because it is 2 days older than the Think Different's & it broke ground under an additional 19 Watt LED Home Depot grow light hanging 4 inches above.

Based on the recommendations in the link above, I have turned on the Bloom switch in addition to the Veg switch & the light height was dropped to 30”.

I waited an extra day before watering. Plants did not receive water for 3 days. Also, the Think Different’s are beginning to stink,



The last picture shows the runt Think Different growing in Happy Frog soil. I fed it General Hydroponics Flora series trio at 1/4 strength of the recommended schedule & pH balanced the mix to exactly 6.5.

I have a few spots appearing on the Auto Mazar. I believe this to be either light burn or wind burn. I have adjusted the angle of the fan. I also raised the light and added my second light as seen in previous journal post. Please, what are your thoughts on these spots?
