Ffoc and ff nutes or fafard soil and mg nutes???

Guys ive posted on mj problem forum (deficiency deficiency deficiency!!!)I wont go into the problems other than definciency.My question is what should i do about soil and nutes Ive used fafard soil and mg nutes (trying to get away cheap) 6 grows went great I would say could not have been better but with my limited experience I wouldnt really know(only using fafard soil and mg nutes)Ive run into major problems on this grow did every thing from flushing to raising ph well I have 12 very healthy clones 3 wks old(they are this old because i didnt want to start them on 12/12 til i solved my problems)they are in 1 gal pots of fafard soil im thinking of buying ffocf and ff nutes then transplant these clones in this b4 i start 12/12 does any one think this might fix my problems if i scrap my old way of using cheap soil and nutes and just spend a little more thanks all (I guess what im saying is everyone is always sayin dont skimp on soil and nutes,could this be the problems im having now)
