few questions before i grow...

1. Ok for my clone or even seed, is it ok if I use fox farm soil for entire life of plant?

2. And will it be ok if I use cfl bulbs till plants are 4 inches. Then switch to mh bulb till plant is about 2 feet. Then when I want it in flowering stage put hps bulb till harvest time?

3. I see in pics that peep set up a fence on top of their plant.. why?

4. Can anyone explaing in detial how to hook up 3 comp fans so I could plug them into a wall outlet? Do I need 3 outlets? Or could I add 3 fans to 1 outlet?

Plz help!!!

I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest from seed with no problems. And Yes no 2. is fine. It is called ScrOG or screen of green. It keeps plants low in height and you can yield more kinda like Low stress Training. Just look up no.4 on google

Yes some people dont use soil with nutes in it for seedlings but it was fine for me :).. And ScrOG are bitches to setup imo.. I would just Low Stress Train or SOG(Sea of Green) instead

Wats it called when I just let the plant grow and just cut the top of plant a couple times to make the yeiild bigger? Cuz that's wat I wanna do. Good?

Low stress training is the act of tying your plants down so all the internodes recieve the same amount of light, more or less.

ScrOG is good if you are limited on vertical space, which is seems like you would be. It is way easier than LST, which also keeps plants short, but you don't have to worry about a bunch of strings holding the branches down. FIM and topping will also make them short, but with more branching and stunted growth because of the stress caused to the plant. Hope that helps.
