Few Questions?? (About to start my first grow next week)

Just letting everyone know I am a noob and this will be my first grow. I just got my medical card through the state so I'm legal and its my time to become a farmer lol

Or what is the best medium ? I want to maximize my harvest to its fulliest extent! My clones will be ready in about a week strains are White Widdow and AK-47. I need to get this done asap!

I have been doing research for a few months and been reading alot but everyone seems to do it different - I have a few basic questions


SOME Basic QUESTIONS

(I dont wanna mess this up)

How long do I keep the plants in the veg state? 6-8 weeks? with a SunMaster 600w MH Conversion CDX Bulb (2 of them)

How long do I keep the plants in the Flowering state? with a SunMaster 600w HPS Bulb (2 of them)

What are the correct PH levels for veg and flowering?

What are the correct temperatures for the grow tent (Temp) (humidity?) (day/night veg/flowering?)

What is the correct temperatures for the water?



This will be my first grow and I wanna do it right! I have been taking notes and keeping them in a journal for when the grow officially starts. I have the time to care for the plants and keeping the tent clean etc.. If you can help me along the way I'll try to repay you some how haha....

unless you're really lucky with your situation you are going to need to vent all the way out of your basement, and you'll want insulated ducting to control the heat. also, it looks like you plan on vegging and flowering at the same time, which is a good idea. but your tent is going to need to be divided into two areas, one completely lightproof for flowering.

use dirt + perlite, learn about the plants in your first couple of grows, consider other mediums later.

you veg as long as you want. the longer the veg the larger the plant and the greater the yield. 4 to 6 weeks is typical

until the plant is ready to harvest. not trying to be smart - read up and look at pics for comparison. you'll end up flowering between 8 and 12 weeks typically.

you want to keep ph around 6.5 to 7 for soil.

no higher than 75 f during the day, no lower than 60 f at night.

room temp is fine. only a concern in the winter.

Just dirt/soil? Any name brands u can point me too? I kinda know that flowering takes its time depending on the plant and the way it was grown just wondering if it was a typical 8-12 weeks. Yes I have a venting system going through the chimney and fresh air intake. Thank you for those answers!
