Totally agree that the hippies need to get out the woods here and there... But some of them do! Everybodys Kitchen, Fat Kids, Shut Up and Eat It all travel around the country feeding people in walmart parking lots till the cops tell em to leave. Ive actually had this idea I want to get off the ground but i need a crew and lots of money to get it started but basically i want to convert a bus to a half RV half roach coach (minus the roaches, unless its my dog roach, hes the only roach allowed!) and travel around taking donations from different churches and food banks and post up at the park or where ever there is high traffic and offer people a free healthy snack, but also to spread the message of love and faith (not religious faith, spiritual) and that we humans are in fact all brothers and sisters and instead of segregating ourselves we should all come together. just like you said, what can 20k hippies do to detroit over the summer? what could we do as humans if we stopped fighting and started working together? +rep for taking your little ones out to rainbows! I love seeing children out in the woods playing carefree really needs more of that.. thats one of the only places children can really be themselves. i would have loved to go when i was a kid
