Ferts/lights

I am running two CFL bulbs on one plant that is 2 weeks into veg. Are the "plant lights" at somewhere like walmart worth it, and what would be the difference? Also, what nutrients should I use and in what quantities? I am a noob at this. ... Cheers, happy smoking

As a side note, I used starting soil, forgot to mention. How long will the nutes in the soil work for before THEY are used up?

Generally no, not worth it if they cost significantly more.

What kind of soil are you using?

How old/big are the plants?

What size planter are you using?

How frequently are you watering?

All of these factors will determine how fast you need to add your own food to the watering can.
