Fertilizers

Hey guys, can you give me a few advices abaut fertilizers for outdoors? At the moment i am thinking of buying root boosters, bat guano-for flowering, blood meal for vegetative state and molasses. Is there anything that is cheaper and better than my choiches?

I would just go with Dyna-Gro grow and bloom and their Pro-Tekt. Works great for me.

This is quite expensive for me, i will grow 20-25 plants so i would need more than 1 quart of fertilizer for my plants. And i HATE liquid fertilizers for my outdoor, because i have to mix them with water every time instead i prefer to use solid fertilizers with slow releasing nutrients. Some people on here use bone meal over bat guano??

wrong....dyna-gro will cost way less ...(you use like 4-6 ml per gallon)

do yourself a favor OP go find uncle bens nute info...
imo your wasting moneys...
i get that liquid nutes are kind of a hassle to use..
i started using jack's classic or maxsea powders...they work just as good...
are you die hard on being organic OP?

Just a little warning, If you intend on using bone and or blood meal, it attracts all sorts of animals, they will dig it up and ruin plants, that is if you are growing in more of a forested area. Might I suggest using some manure, very simple, cheap and effective, cow manure works pretty good, of course you can use additional fertilizers as well.

Stonerman is correct about the blood/bone meal..it attracts hungry critters that will dig at the roots. I used General Organics Fish emulsion with Kelp and molasses all during veg and switched to organic bloom nutes. The worst experience I have was the molasses attracted ants to one of my plants, but they didn't do any damage.

I usually put the bone/blood meal in the very bottom of a deep hole and plant over. Haven't had anything dig it up yet, but when used the meals in my veg and flower gardens, my dogs went apeshit over it and dug up my gardens like crazy. Maybe it's the depth, or there aren't any carnivores that like the stuff in my grow area. Although I have seen bear, bobcat, panther, and coyote in those woods.

But a great setup if you like simplicity is super soil. Look in the organics forum for the recipe. It's pretty much a set it and forget it recipe. But you may need to supplement for long growing seasons.

if you want to go the chem way Heavy Harvest by advanced nutrients is great. id suggest summer if you were on a budget an could only afford 1 but get all 3 if u can(i use 1/3 the recomended dosage on fall and 1/2 on summer). i like planting fish on the bottom of my holes at the end of every year at successful plots

I will buy azomite for my plants for additional trace elements and minerals, how mutch do i need for 25 plants? I use 85l of soiles mix in the ground.
