Fertilizer when using fox farm ocean forest?

Hey growers,

im Having a lot of success growing in fox farm ocean forest soil, it’s been feeding my plants very well and I don’t currently feel the need to make a feeding schedule just yet. However, I see mixed opinions about amending the soil with calmag, and also about maybe needing to feed my plants when they’re further into the vegetative stage. It’s my first grow, so I’m taking my time and learning as I go so that I can be a better grower next time around. So my questions are, should I amend the soil with anything else? What nutrients/brands do you recommend I feed with if/when my soil runs out? What are your experiences with ocean forest?

I attached some photos so you can see what I’m working with. Thanks!

Although I wish I’d been pointed to some water soluble nutes like “raw” I use Down to earth amendments. I totally don’t have a method or recipe but some bat guano and oyster shell never hurts, but you’re probably okay running off the soil for a little while. I don’t have much experience with straight up FFOF though

I typically get 3 weeks out of the soils nutrients before I start adding calmag.. depending on the lighting you may be able to go further. LED makes the plant gobble up calmag. With other lighting it may not be necessary.
I use bottled nutrients. I mix into water and feed that way. So I really can't advise on organic feeds.

I've been adding Mykos to the soil (as well as perlite), and feeding with Recharge, CaliMagic, and FF Big Bloom at around the time that they're big enough to water normally (soaking the pot). This has been working well for me, but I don't have enough experience to tell you the difference in results between this and other methods.

I tried Grow Big (lots of N) at 1/4 the recommended strength, and it burned the shit out of a 4 week old plant. I've now decided that with OF, they don't need anything heavy until flower, at which time I start weening them onto Tiger Bloom, while continuing with the other stuff.

This is with autos BTW.
