FERO 336x3W and more, perpetual 12-12

Those ladies were under the adjustable up until I swapped it for the 336x3, both light still available at the euro branch of Fero...

The new light is currently finishing a few plants and starting a few... it won`t be for another month or so that you will see results from the new lights... I cant decide whether I should have most of the light on the babies or on the plants that are finishing. I guess the Acapulco Gold will be the first to tell, although I would prefer to have her a bit further from the light, unfortunately I cannot bend her anymore (its very crooked). I am very confident that I will get better results with the af-600. Hopefully I can harvest soon enough for the new comers to get all the light needed to grow big.

As long as you don't interrupt the light cycle there will be no problem changing from led to natural light or photo light
however its best you dont disturb them during their dark time as this can send them into confusion which at best case will put them into a stagnant period and worse case senario can cause a hermie effect
I love taking photos outdoors they look best in natural light well here in spain anyway :) you are doing great and am enjoying following your progress keep up the good work m8
happy tokin

Hey Campo! thanks for checking out my grow, please post a link to your thread on my journal when you get it going.

I took some pics without the leds, I thought the light was about to go on... Does it stress the plants to have a light on for a minute? this batch looks so good I dont want to fuck it up!! no more light on them while they sleep... enjoy!! (all random budshot from the tent)

as you know I'm into my autos and have been breeding for a few years now..... but what got me about your perpetual 12/12 system was how similar that is to auto growing especially with the sativa s and your insight into "how you must have no probs in the early stage's or you end up with stunted growth" I think you hit the nail on the head and this is a determining factor from producing a monster or a little lollipop :)

Thanks for the comments Campo!!

Another factor that will help is to make sure they get a ton of light (at least 40watts++ per sq/ft with LEDs) when they are at that point between vegging/flowering and right now I feel like the new comers are gonna miss the boat because the older ladies refuse to finish!! I think my soil wasnt hot enough this time or something because they all ran out of food and I am not sure what to do now, I kinda fucked up, the leaves are all yellow and dying but the buds are still pushing white hairs, The K-train that has its own container is the worst! Anyway I gave em some tea and see if that helps them finish, I dont want to feed em heavy now because I want the perfect clean taste. Another week for the 3 K-trains should do it... I hope. (I think the 15th is going to be about 60+days)

If any of you cares to follow another grow with the new light from FERO and AREA51, I have come across these vids on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/ledweedgirls/videos

So there is 2 grows other than mine that I am aware of using the new AF600:

http://www.growersguidetocannabis.com/blog/
http://www.ledweedgirls.com/

I am looking forward to see how the light performs on each growing style, see if my supersoil can yield anywhere close to Campo`s highly finely tuned feeding schedule!! or at least more than the girls!!:o just kidding...

I was looking at the Fero to add more lights for my next grow, but feel the cost is too high. Has anyone had any luck with any CREE XP-G (or better) China lights like the HANS but is available? any thoughts or recommendations or should I bite the bullet on the Fero??

It looks like before I go all out on the FERO, I am going to give the Apollo series a try!

Ive tried there whole range now and if it was me I would go for the fero have a look around for similar specs and you will see like for like they arent expensive but I know its a lot of money to find when you are first setting up but the proof is in the pudding me thinks

without the container, its about 208grams wet (I had a taste of her a while back as well...). so probably just shy of 2oz...it might be 2 on the button coze she was thirsty. The nugs are dense, I mean DENSE, It might be hard to tell on the pics but its the most hard nugs I have grown so far. They (her and the sisters K-trains) are responsible for the nasty smell in my basement my woman said, I love it!! not a fruity smell, just kindof nasty smell, hard to describe.

Anyway, It made some room, for the TGA agent orange to get closer to the light.

not the nicest plant I know she had a tough life ...all of them ran out of food... which worries me about the stuff in the tent because they have the same amount of the same supersoil,... but they wont grow as big and I am home to feed them so they should come out a little better...

Also she wasnt quite ready but I am learning, learning that so much soil in such a small space makes for bugs and other problem. I will keep the room at maximum 60 gallons of soil in the future. My plants have grown so big 12/12 seed that 4-5 mature plants is the most I will do in that space after my next run...

happy growin everyone!

I decided to make a video after watching this one: (dont watch them if you dont want to feel like I am pushing my FEROs, I am just very happy with the results so far!!!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIg_Y48Tt1Y from growersguidetocannabis.com

This is my first time making a video and also first time uploading on youtube... does it work^? why cant I find it if I type the title in the youtube search bar^? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB5K8HgbBmI&feature=youtu.be I only spent half hour to make it...so its not as well done as the af-600 one! thanks!!

I hope y'all having a nice day! its awesome weather over here!!

thanks Puff!! they will get better, or not, as long as the beat is good!! next time might be an actual video...

has anyone ever tried those portable vaporizer^? http://www.gotvape.com/vaporizer/portable-vaporizers/puffit-portable-vaporizer.html?gclid=CKia0v3T57ECFUJo4Aod60oA2w

too bad they are so pricey they appear to be well built. would like some feed back on them coze the previous portable vape I owned I had to heat the glass with torch or lighter and it really didnt work all that good I used it only a few times...

I havent tried that one that looks like the inhaler, but i have tried the atmosraw vape and it was ok, but gets clogged easily. Have also used a oil-pen vape but don't like that you have to buy new oil cartridges and you don't know for sure whats in those.

Personally I believe organic supersoil is the way to go and if you dont want to have to be a scientist in your garden you might seriously want to look into how I and many other in the subcool's sub-section are doing it. https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/ I would recommend following the exact recipe from subcool for your first attempt.

read my thread from start to finish and my first grow from start to finish (link in my signature) and you will be ahead of the game. Or you can ask other successful growers both with regular bottled nutrients or organic supersoil, dwc, hydro, coco, ...(anyway you choose to go, you can find a lot of help on RIU)

You will get there if it's what you want, my first grow in my signature was my first organic grow, but it was my second grow altogether... I failed miserably the first time, it wasnt that long ago.

Good luck, happy growing!

Damn 4 on light movers, that video had a nice setup. I'm sure the results will be top notch. Thanks for sharing all these videos lately, I love seeing a ton of new led gardens popping up

I need you guys opinion, what s up with my k-trains, just ran out of food or it looks like the cal-mag thing evryone is dealing with with leds^? (I didnt use cal mag this grow other than the little amount that was in my supersoil) Wondering what I should do, I have been feeding them teas last couple weeks but its too little too late, what should I do with em?

IMG_6342.jpgIMG_6338.jpgIMG_6337-2.jpgIMG_6337.jpgIMG_6336.jpgIMG_6332.jpgIMG_6331.jpgIMG_6330.jpgIMG_6343.jpg

The new comers are begging for more light and they are at that point where I should hit them with a ton of light... Check out the acapulco gold, looks like it might be growing some big buds under the af-600, it has changed so much since I got some light on her, she was such a runt!!

IMG_6329.jpgIMG_6326.jpgIMG_6328.jpgIMG_6340.jpgIMG_6339.jpg

thanks

how close to harvest are they? , doesn't look like anything I would stress out on or lose sleep over. They look close enough to being done to where it probably won't affect anything. Are they close to the lights, might be why? Hows the temps, still ideal? You mentioned just ran out of food, maybe they are feeling the effects of that and crisping up/dying off? I think they'll be fine given how far along they are. Great looking nugs anyway!

thanks puff:

its been hot but not too hot .. I think (some days are hotter but I think on average the room is at 85-86)
At a fair distance from the light, its not the light though coze the whole plant went yellow from top to bottom including the stem and evrything.

I am pretty sure they just ran out of food but I also think maybe it has to do with cal-mag or something else.

I am not worry for those I know there is nothing I can do now but more so for what s coming next. I dont want it to happen in the tent!! mind you everything is still green and the hairs are turning brown.

Thanks for the input
